It's a good product if you know exactly what you're getting. The fact that you can re-mold it is pretty cool. Just know that it is VERY thin and firm compared to other mouthpieces. There is no "gel" feel to them at all. They stay in your mouth very well, very snug, give complete coverage, and will prevent you from chipping or cracking your teeth. You can also speak and drink water okay with it in, which is nice. But if you're getting it for fighting/boxing/kickboxing and you're the type to bite down hard on your mouthpiece it might not offer the level of protection or comfort you need. I use it for muay thai but I don't spar super hard so it works for me.

Sisu is just awesome ! Lots of protection while fighting ( bjj) , confortable and makes it really easy to speak and drink water . Once its in position it would just NOT FALL OUT . Im giving this guy 4/5 because due the fact its TOO thin while training muay thai and reciving strikes in the jaw it would make me some lip wounds from time to time . Definitelly a must !

using in MMA as of now and it is nice and light. Molds right to teeth for a custom fit. Pretty easy to mold to teeth and once done you can easily drink and talk! Great mouthgaurd, should give it a try! easily can remold up to 20 times if you mess up the first few times! i had to remold 4 times before i got it to my perfect fit and feel. Bought 3 for my brothers who are also in mma and they love it, easy to communicate during training.

I use this mouthpiece for MuayThai & BJJ. I recommend it to my gym family regularly. If you are reading this, pull the trigger. Give this mouthpiece a shot. Worth it.

I cannot bear regular mouthpieces as they make me gag. This is a solution. My only complaint is that because it is a tightly molded fit, it pinched the gums bit going on and coming off.I use it for combat sports.

As of now I like it a lot. I use it for rugby, haven't taken a huge hit with it yet so I don't have a full feel for how well it is going to work. It stays in place, I have to pull off my teeth. It's kind of a hassle to get it to fit right and not be too tight, but that's why you should read the directions(as I didn't the first fitting). Will update as I use it more.

We have gone through so many mouth guards because they were so bulky. These fit so well. My son can actually talk and drink with it in. With the other mouth guards, he would take them out every chance he could get and now I will see him after games and it is still in. That never would have happened before. I HIGHLY recommend these mouth guards.

Does exactly what it should. Feels less protecting than my shock doctor due to smaller size. But havent gotten popped in stand up sparring with it yet. Because it is smaller and feels less substantial, I will likely use this just for BJJ.

I got the mouthguard for submission grappling. As advertised, you can drink water and talk more or less unencumbered while wearing it. It molds really well to your teeth in the end but it may take a few tries- it took me around 10 tries before I got a good fit.Also, a protip: mold the mouthguard as per the directions included. This seems really obvious but I got impatient early on and used boiling water rather than 60-degree-celsius water to soften the mouthpiece. Each time this resulted in a bad fit.

I bought this for my son, which is 11.It was easy to mould, it did take about 5 times but you can removed this up to 20 times so no worries about trying to get it right first time with some other gourds on the market.He says it is really comfortable and he can drink and speak with it in, which encourages him to actually use it. He has friends who have the cheaper bulky mouth gourds who refuse to use them, so it's worth spending that little bit more.The only down side as other have said, is that it doesn't have a container to keep them clean and safe when not in use, and for this price I'd expect so thing like this.I did purchase the separate Sisu container.I know a lot of ladies who do Roller Derby who swear by these too, so definitely recommend.

Bought this for our rugby playing 12 year old who has been struggling with mouth guards lately due to the eruption of his wisdom teeth. We had tried almost every other brand and could not find anything which was comfortable for him for any length of time. Thought we'd give this a try and so very glad we did, it has been great. It took a couple of tries to get it fitted properly but worth the time to get it right. Now we have it moulded he can pop it in at the start of training or a match and leave with there until the end. Talking and drinking are not a problem and it remains in place and doesn't move about at all.So far he has had 4 training sessions and two matches with it in and he says its really comfy to wear and he forgets its there. To look, his mouth looks 'normal' no bulging top lip, he can close his mouth properly and even his speech does not sound too impeded.All in all a great buy.

Got this for lacrosse in the hope of being able to talk properly while playing and very happy with it. Really simple to mould and fits great! Can still talk clearly and drink with it in and stays in place really well while playing. It's tempting just to grab a cheap one but if you're playing a lot this is worth the money.

I have been using sisu aero for the past two rugby seasons. I decided that this season I would upgrade to the max. What a waste of money. I am unable to wear it, I have remolded it over 7 times and then gave up.During the molding process it fits perfectly but when it drys it is so hard that when you put it on it feels like your teeth are going to break.I have now had to go back to the aero as this fit is so much better.Avoid the max you will damage your teeth with it.
