Q: can it be used on cedar trees?

I used it on grape vines. I don't see why it would not work on cedar trees.

Thank you for your question, Pamela. Tanglefoot Tree Pruning Sealer (Aerosol) contains a mixture of asphalt and Stoddard Solvent (mineral spirits/petroleum distillates). There are no inert ingredients. When used according to directions, this product provides a protective coating against entry of moisture, insects, and disease, and prevents excess sap flow.

Q: Can this be used on citrus plants

On the front of the can it says fruit, shade trees and ornamentals. So based on that i would say yes. I used it on a shade tree and it worked great.

Q: I have a tree scorched from a fire. Would this work to keep the burned part of the tree from getting black soot on whatever touches it?
