849 Metal Range Ball Pen - Black with Black Cartridge

As a bartender/server I use a pen to write down orders constantly. I keep my pen clipped in my front pants pocket. I'm often climbing on things to reach high shelves and the pen is going in and out of my pocket a hundred times a day. Unfortunately I've lost the clip for this pen 3 times. Luckily I've always found it (once in the bottom of a trash can). It's my favorite pen otherwise because of it's minimal design, hexagonal shape, size and ink. Giving it 5 stars, but if you plan to carry it clipped to your pocket while being active you will lose the clip.

Beautiful in its simplicity. It write sooo smoothly. Ypou have toi experience it to feel the difference between Caran d’Ache and cheaper pens. The body is metal! You can actually get it engraved but even more importantly, you can buy refills for these pens and keep the pen forever. Artists love Caran d’Ache and there are excellent reasons for that. The refills are expensive and some will say that you can get half a dozen cheap pens for these price of a refill, and that would be true, but you would never get the same writing experience. You don’t know what you don’t know.

As an ink pen collector I love this pen for everyday use. It’s a small pen and is balanced perfectly for my hands. It writes very smooth, no drag or skipping. I purchased a second one for my small purse too.

The black has a matte finish which was a pleasant surprise. It’s smallish but comfortable to write with. I like that it is a solid one piece of metal. The quality is very good.

It feels very good on my hand, solid and elegant look, yet a light pen. I'm making up reasons to write things down on paper.

Writes well. But if you have larger hands maybe find something else because this thing feels child sized. Also, it has the least satisfying click of any pen I have ever used.

It is nice and small but it kind of clicks a lot and the ink run is somewhat inconsistent. I use this for journaling each night and I cant say its mthe best pen ive ever used.

De beste pen, echt elegant! Ik heb er meerdere, voor elke navulling een aparte pen. Snel geleverd, prima prijs! Graag nog een variant met turquoise pen en navulling ;)

Der Stift ist sehr angenehm zu halten hat ein gutes Gewicht und schreibt sehr fein also sehr weiterzuempfehlen
