Perfect! Smooth, grippy, and a little protection from debris
Bought this to replace a worn down Continental Gatorskin. So far after a couple hundred miles on mostly smoothish black top, I really have no complaints. Wear is good/normal, the ride seems smoother (aluminum frame ’93 Cannondale) than the Gatorskins, and no punctures yet. I have full confidence in these for the days I get a chance to go out on long rides of 50+ miles. Using Gatorskins for so long, I forgot how difficult it was to get the last length of bead on rims. A little soapy water, zip tie, and tire lever, and the tire mounted nice and tight. Pretty good value I think if you don't want to spend the extra money on higher end tires. I don't have any regrets except for feeling guilty not purchasing a Gatorskin.

Comfort and reliability for a solid price
Smooth ride Confident puncture resistance and Quiet ride My previous tire was 28 Continental Grand Prix 5000 and ran tubeless on them for the 2025 season. Tires only lasted one season and had my first puncture that was on the sidewall. Fixed it, took my tire to my LBS and upon inspection, found some dryrot on them and the wear was pretty bad and sent me shopping. I decided to re-prioritize the tire purpose as I have been training for a century. I wanted duribility, comfort vs speed and value in that order. I went for a 30mm tire vs a 28mm tire due to the few reviews I saw that the 30mm fit like a 28mm. I mounted the 30mm Vittoria Zaffiro tire on with tpu tubes and fit just right after I had to trim the hairs on the side of the tire that were in contact with my brake caliper. Thickness of the tire itself is more thick than my GP5000 which is expected and also indicates the duribility. Took a 2 hour ride and they were almost silent. Rolling resistance seemed to be close to the GP5000. My expectation was that rolling resistance would be noticable and just felt a tad but it's negligible and not at all a deal breaker for me. I lost some decent speed but we are only talking maybe 2 or 3 mph difference. 👍COMFORT was noticable. They were smooth and comfortable. I was able to keep my tire pressure around 65 psi with tpu and ran over a pothole and it took it like a boss. 👍. So far, I dig these tires and looking forward to running them for my century. I am contemplating getting upgraded tires for next season only for events that I will ride that will have better rolling resistance.

Great value
Nice tires. Smooth and have good puncture resistance. Great price if you want to try to run 32mm on a road bike.

Zaffiro Pro G2.0 Road Bike - Pinarello Dogma
Smooth handling rolling, installation

Where the rubber meets the road.
I do lots of cycling and run through tires regularly. This is the second set of these tires that I have purchased and (knock on wood) they have lasted without any damage, to include punctures. They are easy to mount to various clincher wheelsets and they have a relatively low rolling resistance and provide excellent grip on the road. Unless weight is a consideration for you, they aren't the lightest on the market. However, they are durable and come in at a very competitive price compared to other brands.

I always buy Vittoria Tires
I always buy the Vittoria Tires. I've been riding with Rubino Pro or the Zaffiro Pro for years and logged over 19,000 miles. On average, I get around 2 to 3 thousand road bike miles, that's a year of riding for me. I run the tires with tire inner liners and gel tubes on carbon wheels. If I'm lucky, I may get one flat a year. For a perspective, I live in goat head country in the central valley of California. I don't race, I do a lot of endurance riding. I see a lot of complaints on some reviews about the difficult installation of these tires. If you are putting the new tire on cold, it will be an exhausting/frustrating task and you will likely break a couple tire levers in the process. A little advice: take the tire out of the package, unfold and round out the tire, and lay in the sun on a sidewalk for 30 minutes. When the tire is warm/hot, it will expand/stretch and make easy to install. Just a reminder, the tires are directional, so look for the arrow before installing. The Zaffiro max pressure is rated at 130 psi and minimum pressure is 87 psi. I keep my pressure around 115-117 psi. For the price, these are good tires for the average consistent rider.

Deep sidewall cracks after under a year.
Solid grip for road riding but after under a year of regular use the sidewalls of the tires have severe cracking and need to be replaced which is very disappointing as the tread hasn't come close to wearing out.

As advertised

Fast delivery. Good Quality so far. Easy to assemble. Value for money. Too early for me to assess the reliability of the tyre. It is made in Thailand. Hopefully it is good in the long run.
