I am not a beginner - I'm not even a tattoo artist, but my niece has been performing cosmetic tattoos for at least 20 years and is an expert in working with tattoo machines. She also accepts new trainees and that's what this kit was for - her newest trainee. She likes to take on those who have financial difficulties and that really want to learn a trade they can practice throughout their lives. She was impressed with what this kit came with and for the price it was a great way to help out this young lady in giving her a beginner's kit like this. Granted, most of the colors she may not use while training under my niece as she specializes in eyebrows an lip lines, but in the long run, her trainee may branch out into regular tattoo art and this kit's ink colors would then come in handy. Both my niece and her protégé told me the pen was comfortable and easy to hold, the motor was reasonably quiet and the case it all comes in makes it great for taking to and from the shop or if you go to client's homes to do the work. All in all, this is an excellent beginner's kit for you or if you know someone who wants to get into tattoo art.

This was a bad tattoo pen it worked for a little bit then the needle started going slow and as I turn up the wattage it stays the same I changed needles and it’s still doing the same thing !. Wouldn’t suggest buying this !….

I’ve had the product for 2 months and the machine stopped working today, I used it two days before with no issue

Mixed reviews half the items didn't work,the pen feels like a cheap piece but actually does good work it's the only good thing everything

Good tattoo kit. Inks are good for practice skins but I wouldn’t recommend ever using ink on a human canvas. Machine is kind of like a mast tour pen just a bit on the noisier side. Great for shading however, line work I would bump up the power a bit and work solely off the tip of the needle. The power supply is nothing to shout about very basic but good.
