The camera works excellently. The image is super clear. Installation was very easy, and it connects quickly to Wi-Fi. I like that I can see everything from my phone at any time, receiving alert notifications directly. Plus, the design is sleek and attractive; it looks very high-quality and is weatherproof. I highly recommend it.

They call it a PTZ camera, but only has optical zoom. Otherwise sharp picture and full range of pan and tilt.

This is my 2nd Alptop IP camera, and I'm pleased with both. This one is surprisingly lo w priced for such a feature rich IP camera. My other Alptop camera has an optical zoom lens and cost 4X what this one did. Yet this one has all of the features of the more expensive one except optical zoom. It was easy to install and set up. I especially like the AI filtered motion detection, the ability to switch on bright white lights and sound a siren alarm when a target is detected. The optional auto tracking is also good, allowing the camera to follow a moving subject. I'm using it to deter a bear from getting into my garbage cans (I live in the country in a wooded area). It works great, making the critter flee as soon as the lights and siren went off. With the recommended app in my cell phone I'm able to view and control my Alptop cameras from anywhere in the world that I have a decent WiFi connection. May buy another one for my front entrance and driveway.

I purchased 3 of these to replace some cameras at my house, as I’ve decided to build my own nvr and my current cameras are only p2p cams. Right out of the box, one had a bad Ethernet connection. Fortunately it was the last one I went to set up, so I had already figured out the default local IP address (192.168.1.88 if anyone needs to know)and was able to configure it wirelessly. I refuse to use the applications they suggest for setup as I want nothing to do with unsecured connections to China, and I actually block all internet access to these cameras. My biggest problem is that I can not get the 2 way audio to work in Blue Iris (nvr software). I purchased these specifically because multiple people have asked if it works with blue iris and the seller responded saying it does. I have emailed Alptop support for assistance, but it’s been 24 hours now and no response. So 1 star for now unless they can help me with these issues, and I’ll update if they do. Picture looks alright, ptz works, alarm sounds work, I can hear sounds from the camera just fine, just can’t talk out of the cameras, the led light for full color night vision are very bright, infrared looks good, and the build is bigger and more robust then I thought it was going to be. I believe it to be a good deal for $50 if they will respond to me and get the 2 way audio working and address the one with a bad Ethernet port.

I was impressed on how easy it was to sync with our router and then the quality of the picture, night and day is perfect. It also has so many features, like zoom, pan, tilt, tracking, define detection area, AI alarm, sensitivity adjustments for the AI and motion detection, push notifications to cell, or picture/video sent to my email, alarm siren, with or without bright lights. And even more than I mentioned. It works so well I just purchased another one. Oh and did I mention, no monthly fee's like many other security cameras require. Just need wireless internet router, a cell phone and the app. I have an android and it works excellent! Updating this review after 2nd camera installed; I finally found time to install my second ALPTOP PTZ Security Camera. Installed so easy and now both cameras are shown on my Android cell phone which makes it super easy to change between them. The quality of these cameras are almost unbelievable and I have captured criminals on our property and even rats and mice getting into our engine compartments. We traveled 1600+ miles and I could still use and control the cameras, saved pictures and push notifications still worked well. These are excellent cameras and the app on android works great as well as the computer. You won't regret buying these cameras!
