This product is fantastic! We have two pit bulls, and they've managed to chew through all their collars. This leash is no collar needed its incredibly convenient and easy to put on. It's also great for training purposes. The material is both soft and highly durable. The adjustable size is versatile, allowing for a perfect fit without buckling or becoming too tight. If the dog pulls, it tightens, which makes it an excellent choice for training. As well for the length of the leash we used 6ft and it’s also tangled resistant. Overall 10/10 I will definitely buy again but from what I can see it will be a long time due to the quality of it.

I bought 2 of these leashes for my dogs after seeing a dog trainer use something very similar. Before this, I was using a conventional clip-on leash and a flat collar, and I found that my dogs pulled a lot. Well, my young and insane terrier mix still pulls like a freight train, but my older dog has responded well to this leash. It's been significantly easier to get him to heel and to move him along when he decides to spend an entire day sniffing a patch of grass. I'm sure my younger dog will calm down a bit when I work with her some more, and this leash will help. The rope is stout and it has reflective thread woven into it. I didn't realize how visible it was until a light shone on it. I wouldn't rely on it to keep you safe in low visibility areas (wear a reflective vest if you walk at night and there's traffic) but it can't hurt and is a nice touch. The rope is soft enough that it doesn't chafe either dog's neck, and it's thick enough that it doesn't hurt my hands even when the dogs spot a rabbit or squirrel and YANK as hard as they can. I certainly have no fear of this leash breaking-- it looks like you could tow a small car with it. This is an excellent, inexpensive slip leash to use when walking or training an obstinate dog.

My rating: 4 stars Powder's rating: 5 stars. This is the best tug-of-war/chew rope dad has ever bought. I'm giving this four stars based on the superb design and construction, with a small ding for material type. I think for 99% of dog owners out there who are dedicated to training their dogs into well behaved members of the family, this is a great lead in responsible hands, and very likely a 5 star product for most folks. Part of the excellent design, is a safety ring, which prevents over-tightening, something I wish my current go-to had, along with a leather "stop" to prevent the lead from becoming lose and allowing smart puppers from backing out. My 1 star deduction: I did find the lead material a little "slick". Even with it positioned at high neck, Powder was able to pull enough when breaking his heel, to slide it in my hands. This made the correction sloppy. I found myself having to focus on really gripping the lead to prevent the slip and that of course resulted in a pretty stiff arm, which is the opposite of what I'd like. You can give the lead a single wrap around your hand to prevent the slip, I'd just prefer not to do that. Training side note: Powder is a 70lb Husky mix, and like most of them, is a hard and heavy puller. Putting him in a harness would be the short path to getting flopped over and dragged through the dirt. He's also displayed severe leash anxiety at odd times and I suspect a lack of training from his original owners. So, I was a little nervous about the initial introduction to this, but to my surprise he took to this lead straight away. Zero anxiety, and I was able to bring him into a pretty relaxed heel very quickly. If you have a "puller", I think this lead is definitely worth testing.

This leash is very easy to use. The slip lead is comfortable for both the dog and human. The leash is well made and very durable. The reflective cording is a welcomed feature especially for night walks. The orange color is vibrant and the leash length is perfect. Overall, very satisfied with this product.

Sturdy and it works to help restrain my 105lb Great Pyrenees. I first ordered the 4 foot version, but she has a rather thick neck. I returned it for this 6 foot version and am quite pleased. Good value, great leash.

Excellent quality. Fit my small Jack Russell, not cruel. He quickly figured out leash pressure and responded appropriately. Just like the dog trailing videos with NO drama or pain/stress. Useful training tool, highly recommend

My dog likes to pull and this slip leash is effective esp when in correct position near the top of his head. The leash is easy on my hands too, no rough rubs.
