While not quite as flavourful as the Oshawa brand, it’s also much less expensive! So it’s one star less for flavour, but a solid 4 stars for quality of ingredients and brewing technique.

Japanese chicken fried rice at home
I was trying to figure out how to make my home made chicken fried rice taste like what we get at Shoguns. This was the difference. Definitely recommend trying a bit in your fried rice.

The product is good quality, but it will expire in 3 months (from when it was delivered). I don't go through mirin very fast, so, considering the cost for the product, I was disappointed about the shelf life, and that it also isn't eligible for a return.
