Rails Bend Easily
This is the second saddle I have purchased after the rails on the first one bent badly after less than 600 miles of cycling. I contacted the company for resolution, but I found that instead of taking responsibility for the quality of its product, Selle Anatomica made excuses for the failure and further tried to blame me. If you purchase this saddle, make sure you research all of the restricions. There are different weight requirements for the leather and the rails. According to the company, there are also requirements for where on the rail you install it and what type of body frame you have, although I could not find those listed on the web. This is all too complicated for me so I have moved on to another brand that does not come with a lot of requirements. Good luck and happy cycling!

Squeaky, creaky saddle and not as comfortable as claimed
I'm a long time Brooks saddle rider but decided to ride a Selle after buying a new bike. I understood the original owner was killed in a car collision and wanted to support them. Unfortunately, there is no mutual support. After reading about the comfort out of the box I was shocked to find that it was no easier to break in than a Brooks. When it is too soft a male needs to ensure his genitalia is not hanging between the leather flaps because they will. When it is tight it is hard leather just as the Brooks. Now after a few months of riding it the saddle creaks with every pedal stroke. It's so annoying and obvious that I thought my bike has issues. I called Selle and asked to return it and was flatly denied. Their solution is to oil the under side of the saddle. In 20+ years on Brooks I have never had an issue and never had creaks that required oiling. I cannot and will not recommend Selle to anyone looking to buy one.

Thank goodness! Finally a seat that can go the distance!
Let me start by saying that since I got a new road bike last year, I've had three professional fitting sessions and been through 6 saddles! I could get about 7 miles in before I'd lose feeling in my left foot on the old saddles and by 15 I was literally in tears! The first time I tried for 30, I had to walk the last 2.5 because I honestly could not stay in the saddle! I went on a group ride and three of them had this saddle and sang its praises. It was described to me akin to 'sitting in a hammock'. So, I went out on a limb and gave it a shot. First ride, 18 miles with no issues. Second 25 with no saddle issues. I haven't tried for longer than that, but I can comfortably ride as far as I am willing to go these days. The three in the group regularly go for 50 to 85. I did have the bike shop put it on for me and adjust it, but since then, I haven't had any issues. If you are struggling to find the right saddle, definitely give this one a shot!

Love this saddle!!!
Have used this for about 300 miles now and so far I can say it's the most comfortable saddle I've ever used. Have adjusted it a couple times as it wears in - it's super easy to do. It just feels way better than all the hard saddles I've used in the past - I can't say enough good about this saddle so far!Update - now have over 1000 miles on this saddle and absolutely love it! I find that I can ride longer and in more comfort - never get sore like I used to with other saddles. Love the way it feels when I first sit on it - it 'gives' as opposed to the hard feeling I was accustomed to. It makes me look forward to the next ride even more!

Comfortable but expensive
I really like the comfort from day 1, it does take a little adjusting on the tightness to dial in that perfect comfort. Darn expensive, more than a brooks by a little, the real extra costs come with the seat cover (which may work, I forgot to put it on the other day when I road after the rain). Also the saddle sauce is about 4 times as expensive as brooks. You only apply the sauce to the bottom of the saddle and it's like a liquid not a paste. I put 4 stars as I can see stress marks on the sides near the bottom from what I can only assume is "flare out," you'll see some brave souls actually cut their saddles to remove it, I don't notice it against my thigh at all. Also 4 stars because of the noticable price point with accessories pushing the $300 mark for the total. I hope it lasts me a longtime as I have only put 200 miles on it in the 2 months I've had it.

I prefer it to my very broken in Brooks.
Probably 400ish miles on it so far and this is the saddle I will buy and rebuy for life. Yesterday I did a 2hr ride with 1000ft climb and got home and thought never even thought about my butt hurting once.

I think I like it and really can't fault the construction or design
I think I like it and really can't fault the construction or design. Some saddles just fit some people better than others, we cyclists know that. My Brooks B17 on the aluminum/carbon bike is still the most comfortable but the B17 just didn't work on my vintage steel frame project. It felt good for a while but always gave me lower back pain. I like the leather look and feel so gave this a try and am pretty happy. It's a little wider than the Brooks which should does fit my sit bones a little better. It's also a little stiffer/thicker leather which isn't bad for my 200lb frame. That being said, I'm probably 200 miles into it with some gravel road work and am barely seeing the sit bone indents and still get some chaffing where the edges of the nose rub. That's all getting better and I expect it to break in eventually.

Great Saddle
Bought this saddle as it came highly recommended for a 3,070 mile ride across the USA. I like everything about the saddle except that once I started riding through the South with high humidity/sweat etc., I had a difficult time keeping it adjusted as it was stretching so much. At first I just adjusted it with the screw at the front of the saddle, but as I got farther East, I ran out of adjustment to tighten it up. For 99% of the riding people do, I highly recommend the saddle.
