Repair Kit for Fix Auto Glass Cracks/Scratch/Chips/Nicks/Half-Moon/Star-Shaped/Bulls-Eye

This kit is excellent. I had a very small chip in the windscreen and didn't want to go to the trouble of calling out a windscreen repair technician, so I tried this. The manual was simple to understand (albeit it was obvious that English was not the author's first language) and the procedure was simple. Having read previous reviews, I decided to leave it to cure for a little bit longer than advised. It was only about 5.5°C when I did the task. It was sunny though. I left the first stage for about 15 mins and the second stage for 30 mins. As you can see from the pics and video, you can still see it, but the resin has filled it up successfully and it's almost invisible. Very happy. 5 stars!

I've bought this kit 3 times now. First one I bought a couple of years ago and it worked ok, it did leak a little resin out, but otherwise sorted the chip out. Needing to sort another car I bought the same kit, plus another one to keep as a spare. For one reason or another, namely moving house, I didn't get around to using the kit for about 4 months. Having used up a whole kit trying in vain to get it to work, it's clear that the pressure driver isn't a good fit for the chamber and so the resin doesn't get forced into the crack. Tried my spare kit and it was the same. Total waste of money. I've now ordered a different brand in the hope of getting something that works.

I was sceptical this would work some reviews say does some say not , Well i can tell you i had a bullseye in the corner of my screen that then led to a 7inch crack across the screen so not great didn't want it to get any worse so gave this a go, Got to say it WORKS its not perfect as i can still see a very faint crack line bullseye almost disappeard totally, It is 110% better than it was now it looks solid. Tips take your time read the instructions gently push the crack when the resin is in it and work the air bubbles out i missed a couple of tiny ones. This product worked for me and the results I'm happy with didn't expect to much to be fair but it surprised me.

I was very unhappy when an overtaking car skidded a rouble(s) at high speed hitting my windshield. The cracking sound and the immediate bull eyes created (between them a 2 cm crack which seems to be worsening a few days later). My original thought was either to leave it as it is, as it had happened to me before not just one time. But all those times the cracks were really little to ignore. This time, it is bigger than all those and big enough to annoy and worry me. Or, I can go to a garage to fix it - but it takes time and money. Then, my brother (who lives in another country) suggested me to do it by myslef. So, from Amazon, I found this item. I saw a good number of high rating. So, I would give it a try. Honestly I would say I did not fully understand the best way to do it in one-go. So, the first attempt I was a bit stupid to miss making sure the suction created a tight contact for the middle hollow rod and the screen. So, I saw some glue leakage. Then I read again the instruction, and realized I did not follow it well. The second attempt, it gives a very good result. I belive if I have more time to add one more round, it would even look cosmetically perfect. I just think for the time being, the most important thing was to fill up the crack, mend the bull eye, so it would not get worse. For this purpose, I fully achieve it. To make it cosmetically perfect I think I can make it if I have time later. I am recommeding it to a friend already while knowing he has a similar situation.

Arrived on time. Packaging was fine and came with all relevant instructions. However when I came to use the resin it was set solid in the container so non usable and a waste of money. I will be looking elsewhere for a similar product.

After my insurance told me I needed a full windscreen replacement with a £150 excess payment, I decided I had nothing to lose by having a go at repairing it myself first. I was a bit sceptical about how good this kit would work given that I had a massive composite crack, but it's worth every single penny! Not only filled the hole in the glass but it also filled most of the lateral cracks coming out of it. Although a couple of small cracks remain, as you can see from the video, they are barely visible from outside and invisible from the inside, with the original crack looking like a dirt sport, so I could not have asked for more. If like me you are told you need to replace the windscreen, you should definitely try this kit first!

I bought this kit to make a repair to a small chip with some minor cracks either side of it. I followed the instructions exactly. Firstly, the notion that the chip 'disappears' is of course complete garbage. Even with the resin in the chip looked exactly the same as before. But the chip wasn't in a viewable area of the windscreen so I was happy to live with that so long as the chip was filled in. HOWEVER I've gone to my car the next day, and the small cracks have EXPANDED to cover a huge area of the windscreen, right down to the edges. This can only be the repair as I've had the chip for weeks and there was no spreading. Conclusion - the resin isn't fit for purpose, and clearly expands in the cracks, so instead of filling it in it actually expands, causing more pressure and more cracking. In conclusion ,this product is worse than doing nothing at all. As a result I now need a brand new windscreen. AVOID THIS PRODUCT AT ALL COSTS!

The kit itself was relatively easy to use however the instructions on the Amazon listing are better than the ones included with the product. The included instructions are quite a bad translation. Didn't end up fixing the chip on my windscreen. Ended up with a tiny bit of spillage of the repair resin but it is very easy to clean up using the sharp blade so it is not an issue as long as you clean it up quickly. When it costs £25 for an repair and, depending on your policy, wouldn't negatively affect you, do that instead. Was worth a shot at east for the price of the kit.
