... of carts in several price ranges and was never happy with them
Excellent cart.I've tried a number of these types of carts in several price ranges and was never happy with them, always either poorly designed or junk that broke/wore out quickly, or both. I'm not easy to please, but this cart is priced like cheap junk yet is constructed like high-end commercial office furniture. Easy assembly, heavy-duty metal components, elegant design, rock solid construction, super smooth wheels. There are only a couple minor design flaws, which would have cost it one star if it weren't so good otherwise.Minor flaws:1. The mouse platform does not have independent height adjustment on its own- its height is adjustable along with the main platform but not independently. It just so happens that the relative height is perfect for how I use it, but it could be uncomfortable for some to have the mouse platform so low compared to the keyboard.2. The lip that holds the laptop when the platform is tilted is sloped, which will not hold a laptop with a right-angled bottom front edge very well. It seems to work well with my Dell XPS 15 that has a more rounded bottom edge that matches the slope of the lip.3. There is only one bar with 2 screws holding the mouse platform in place- a cross bar and four screws would have been more durable in the long run. As it is, eventually the screw holes will probably wear out.I'm here to order another one of these gems, might even order two more.

Almost Perfect
It's strong, it can support any laptop,it got wheels so you can run with it anywhere. It would be perfect IF:1. The main tube could move instead of having a static position. It can only be move up or down.2. Needs a bigger stopper or something that can hold the laptop better, because if you put the laptop base diagonally, it may fall to the floor if its a very Heavy Laptop or if super thin than could slip and go over the stopper. If used horizontally then you should have no problems.3. If it had a longer legs and neck (or adjustable) it could even be use perfectly from bed.4. Last thing maybe the wheels could use/need a lock so it doesn't move while typing or hit it by accident. In General, I'm happy with the product as it fits my needs. The Price it's ok but could be less I guess. It was easy to assemble.

Needs a rubberized surface to keep laptop from sliding off.
The surface that the computer sits on is made of a a slick, black plastic material and there is a raised "bumper" at the bottom which is intended to stop the laptop from sliding off the table into your lap. However, the material being slick, the bumper being relatively low, and the design of my HP laptop having a curve from the bottom up to the edge that is higher than the top of the "bumper," my laptop slides right off into my lap whenever I incline the table to an angle--which is 99 percent of the time. To fix this, I put a piece of rubberized drawer liner down first and that keeps the laptop from sliding.Other than this design issue, I'd say the table is a pretty good solution in that it is sturdy, doesn't tip over, and was pretty easy to put together.

Well made and almost perfect design, I would highly recommend!!
I was days away from having my knee replaced and realized that I needed to keep working from my recliner. I'm currently writing this review using the stand with my laptop on the stand and my mini keyboard in my lap. The stand is very very well made and very sturdy. I could use the keyboard on the laptop with no problem, but I hate typing from laptop keyboards. Not a complaint, but maybe a suggestion would be the bracket holding the laptop. If it would go 90 degrees straight up from the mouse holder and then go over to hold the laptop stand, it would allow me to lower the stand more over my chair armrest to get it closer to my lap and make it easier to type on the laptop keyboard. For size reference, I'm on a Dell XPS 15 and it fits easily on the stand and could have room for my mini keyboard in front if needed.

DO NOT Buy Used
The media could not be loaded. I bet this product is really cool. However, I never got the chance to experience that because I decided to buy a preowned or used product which in the description stated that the packaging would be damaged. Once I opened the damaged package I see several parts missing due to a wide-open baggie of screws washers and even the tools to put the product together scattered all over the inside of the box and inside the piping of the stand. The instructions are missing. The tray is cosmetically damaged which I actually would’ve been fine with if I could get it to just stand up so I can go back to work after having a recent surgery and complications that are making me miss work. I’m really sad and pretty frustrated. My only advice here would to only buy brand new because I guess you never know what you’re going to get with used/pre-owned. The description doesn’t match. I would never have ordered.

Sturdy and Functional - A Good Buy
My previous laptop desk, which I bought at Walmart and put together (with much frustration and colorful expletives) about 7 or 8 years ago, finally fell apart. So, after looking at several on Amazon, I decided that this one was what I needed.Happily, I was right!A friend of mine put it together for me, as I am presently having some back and leg issues that prevent me from doing a lot of bending or sitting on the floor. He had it done in about an hour. This desk is definitely solid. It moves nicely on the wheels over all surfaces - wood, tile, and carpet.I like that the height and angle are adjustable. I am using a 15.6" laptop on it right now, and there is about 1.5 - 2 inches clearance on the sides, and another 3.5" clearance between my laptop and the top edge of the shelf. To sum up, I believe this desk is well worth the price paid, and I recommend it to anyone wanting a laptop desk that can be adjusted for sitting or standing use. It would also be perfect for working from bed.
