I have been a loyal user of Swan’s same product. I thought they were the only ones who made a product like this as I’m constantly searching for them just to see if there’s a new one out there. Somehow this brand had been hidden due to its name or description and by chance it happened to appear on one of my most recent searches. I do not know how long this product has been on the market, but I am max that I have been using the Swan ones for years and just stumbled upon what I hope is the best there is and will be a solution to the problem with the Swan ones.The Swan adapter is fabulous. I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread for using around the farm especially when bathing horses. No more having to turn the actual heavy hoses or having to place my body into weird positions or getting soaked from not being able to hold something correctly. I also no longer have to hold a hose into a water trough or put it all the way in to avoid holding it there while the water fills. The Swan adapter did all the work for me.Except I went through them like crazy! They would constantly break. I would have to replace each one I had no less than 4 times a year and that is a lot of money. When I found this one, it was in fact because two of the Swan ones had broken and were leaking water like crazy. Swan is made out of plastic not metal like this one. Even thought this cost 2 to 3 times more, it is metal and worth the shot to see if it would end up crashing for the same reasons.I have been using it for almost a month and no problems so far. If, and when, it does have an issue or breaks, then I shall update this review with all the bad things about it. But for now it is nothing but sunshiny days!And by the way I have a range of pressures that I use it with ranging from 40 psi to 180 psi. So far no problem. The plastic on the Swan cannot hold up to the constant pressure and the multiple uses all day long are the reasons that I think they break so much.

I’d been looking for metal swivels like this as I put up with one plastic swivel after another bursting or cracking with use. This is a great, well made connector and I think I’ve replaced all my swivels for the last time. So the cost... These seemed expensive to me until I compared the cost and inconvenience of several plastic ones. In the long run, this is the cheaper option.

Awesome solution to a 23 yr old problem! As you can see I only have a 7in. clearance to attach my hose reel water line and every time I would roll out or reposition the hose cart it would kink the water line. I gerryrigged all manner of fittings over the years to extend the bibb until someone finally invented the fitting that flexes and swivels. Just what I was looking for! Bought two. Let's hope it lasts.👍
