seems a little expensive for what you get but then everything does now.

If you use 5 gallon buckets as a chair like I do, these are great. The original lids eventually crack, these are very sturdy and support my 200lb butt!

I was excited to get this but it didnt fit ANY bucket I hadI have a LL team and we are the Padres, i was gunn paint the yellow logo on this and use for my ball bucket but it fit any of the 5 or 6 gallon buckets I owned and I missed my return window.,may just be a bad batch but I was scratching my head as to why it doesnt fit.

I bought this for the buckets I use for tie dye and other crafty things. When ya need to let stuff soak for a while ya don't want contamination, so lids are quite helpful. the ones that come with the buckets thoguh are usually meant to be there long term, so while they seal quite well, they're a bit of a pain to get off and on, particularly with one hand. These have four lil tabs on the bottom to hold them down, and I might break out with the carpet knife to trim them off at some point, but they're pretty darned great as they are. You can mark on the top in marker pen, and with the texture it doesn't wipe right off. I bought this one just to see how it'd go, I'm sure I'll be getting some more. Color coding is even a option. Yup, I'm kinda diggin' it!

Didn’t fit the bucket

this fits over the lip. previous versions I have used sit inside the lip and can act as a garden seat. might be my fault for not noticing that but good overall

This bucket seat lid JUST WORKS. I weight 185, and I use it on a bucket in the shower in leu of a shower chair / shower seat. I like that it stays clean and is easy to clean (unlike most shower chairs with lots of nooks and crannies, and which seem to fill with water eventually). After having a bunch of shower chairs rust or finding that they were too hard to clean, this has been my solution. I may still look for something more comfortable, as the bucket is kind of low for a proper seat, but for now I'm very happy. The durability and ease of use has won my affection for this product.UPDATE 11/27/2017: I'm just as happy with this product as I was when I wrote my first review. It's been so useful! Don't hesitate to buy this product!

I bought 2, one for work and one for home.I constantly use an open bucket to sit on while workingI don’t know where to start with the pain and complications caused by sitting on an open bucket for yearsI love this thing. AWESOME, AWESOME gadget.
