Worth the money
It's beautiful, very good quality control, and very sharp. It shaved my leg out of the box!

Besides poor marketing, knife and sheath combo need some work.
OK, full tang. Decent stainless steel, doesn't roll or chip, but selling a dullish knife with a kitchen knife grind as an "elite fighting knife" in 2017 is pathetic. Tanto blade design decent for fighting, not so much for hunting. Glass breaker passable for a limited number of uses. Rubber handle comfortable, grips decently, but lacks guard. Would not use this knife with a wet hand. Sheath kinda MOLLE compatible, but doesn't lock knife. Minus. This blade is not razor sharp and should come so from the factory. The lanyard, while better than nothing, earns a C'Mon Man - paracord is not expensive. The sheath will not hold knife securely in and needs a buckle and/or fasteners to secure it. Sheath will break and chip. The edge grind and the stainless blade material would preclude this from being a work knife. Stainless has the proclivity of breaking while used to baton. Would not chop, baton or feather with this knife. A metal guard incorporated into the design would be nice and your fingers would agree. 1095 or D2 HIGH CARBON steel WITH A RAZOR EDGE and a better grind could make this knife double as a possible work knife. Not sharp enough out of box to be a fighter. Would be marginal hunting knife with dullish edge and blade geometry as is. Puncturing organs while field dressing would be a constant concern. Fishing knife, I guess: just don't filet. Sheath needs fasteners. All in all, if one deploys or hunts with this knife, have it professionally sharpened (and maybe reground) first. Consider replacing sheath or adding fasteners. The Croatians make this knife and claim it is an "elite fighting knife." Made in Croatia with decent quality control. A Buck Nighthawk is a similar but much better knife. The product is decent, but must be improved to be marketed as a deployment ready, "elite fighting knife." A fighting knife which isn't sharp enough to cut steak isn't much of a fighting knife, not even a hunting knife, and you aren't going to safely filet fish with this. The Croatians should employ consultants who actually use and work with knives to improve their knife production. When both Schrade and Condor can do a better job for less with "budget minded work and hunting knives," Kovachek has no business calling these things "elite fighting knives." Potentially better than Gerber, Cold Steel or SOG mass production, Kovachek doesn't have it together to claim its share of the market. A Kabar it is not.

Blade 10/10. Sheath 1/10
Blade is fantastic its a good weight and design and it was even pretty sharp... But the sheath is junk its made of fake kydex like material held together by cheap rivits and the loop is really thin so it will only fit certain belts

Great fixed blade
Great fixed blade. Comes with a Kydex Sheath. Sheath has holes where you can attach it in various positions or just use the belt loop and have it hanging. Worth the money.

knife feels good in my hand
Shipped faster then I expected, actually arrived a day earlier then was posted, knife feels good in my hand, feels pretty balanced and the sheath fits tight like it's supposed to. Knife came sharp, but not razor sharp. Looks agressive whitch is why I bought it. Look forward to putting it through its paces!

Great Blade
Knife is sharp and seems to be of good quality, but the sheath broke the first time out.

pleasantly surprised - worth the price more bang for the buck
I wasn't sure what to expect but this is an awesome knife. Very sharp. Sturdy. Weighted on the blade side. I don't throw so I'm not sure how well it will carry the weight forward but I believe its very doable
