Works great!!
I purchased this solar fountain June of last year for a small water feature on my deck. It was cheap and I expected it to only last one season so I never put it away for winter. When spring sprung in late March, I began to clean up the deck and flip my water tub back over to fill it. I expected to have to order another pump but was pleasantly surprised that not only did it just start working again, it’s still going 3 months later. It will be interesting to see how long it lasts. I’ve ordered another one for a water feature in my sunroom. If and when they decide to finally give up, I will post an update. I purchased June 24th 2024 for approximately $10. What a deal!

Works well, but sent a used item that's missing a piece
The media could not be loaded. I've only had it for a day, but so far it works well as long as the solar panel has direct sunlight. I'm ok with it turning on and off depending on the sun as long as the water isn't stagnant for too long (dang mosquito season). In full sun, there's enough power to push water through a straw. The wire is long as well, which is convenient.I took one star off because I was obviously sent a returned item. The accessories bag was ripped and taped back together. I was also missing a piece, which thankfully I won't be using. I was hoping to contact the seller to get that piece replaced, but it seems my only option is to do a full return/exchange situation which is undesirable.

So bad it’s funny!
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a small submersible solar pump for a 20 gallon half barrel water feature and chose this, partly because of good reviews. I should have known I’d get what I paid for! I laughed so hard when I saw this thing! It’s TINY! So soooo small. I knew it wasn’t what I wanted but as I was playing with the barrel setup I installed it to see what it would do. It can not be more than 1/2” away from the surface. It will not do more than disturb the surface tension of the water if it’s deeper. The sun must be very bright with no shade or shadows in order to have a spray that shoots 12” high (the small fitting makes a much higher spray if it’s super sunny). Even a bird flying over the solar panel breaks its stride. My video shows a very bright but overcast day, any other solar device would work in that level of brightness. I half-joked about building a Barbie sized spa with it. I have a tall terrarium setup with a glass column in the center that houses a beta. I thought I could use there, it but even with the solar glass touching ultra bright full spectrum UV it did not work indoors. I’m keeping it because we have kids, and it’s a novelty, more like a toy. It works about as well as the little propeller fans you can plug into your phone to get a breeze. Definitely do not recommend this product to actually move any water.

Professional Seller
I don’t recommend this water pump. It doesn’t work unless the sun hits directly on the panel, and the output is significantly low. It carries a tiny panel that is weak.I added 2 stars in appreciation for the seller paying attention to their product and customers. I still wish the pump would work, but it may just be a defective one. The seller decided to issue a refund for the defect.

Not a keeper, in my humble opinion
I know you can’t please everyone which makes it difficult to purchase something based off of these reviews. I’m not hard to please, I promise. So, this pump does not actually charge via solar panel like most other solar items. It will only turn on at the very moment that the SUN is shining directly onto the panel. If a cloud swings through, pump off. Overcast kinda day? Pump off. I live in Florida and have plenty of sunshine available, and still struggled to get this thing to stay on. Also, didn’t seem to put out much flow, and there’s no pressure dial to adjust. My intention for this pump was for a small patio fountain ( NOTE: the pump, cord and panel are permanently attached. I had to pop out part of the spline on my screen to get the panel out of the patio area and into the sun.) Back to my point, intended to use with small fountain, not enough gusto, but it might mix your chocolate with your milk pretty well. Just make sure you’re standing right near the equator when you try it!
