I bought the 4 pack as I didn't know what to expect concerning longevity. I think they will last a very long time.Anyway, installation was a breeze. I fitted the cord around all components, stretched the two ends together as tight as I felt was needed. I marked the one end with a dot. From there, I saw two videos, one using an awl, and another using an expensive "whatchamacallit" made just for this purpose. Posh! I used a very small gauge drill bit in a cordless drill and made the connection. The staple, fortunately, wound up parallel to the wheels so theres no clicking as it drives the machine.

Have my great-nan's treddle machine but the belt had become so brittle, it couldn't work. These are just right; glad I got them.
