Action packed emotional rollercoaster!
What an epic ending to this amazing series! I devoured it in one breath. The author brings a conclusion to Ari's story masterfully and consistently, and the whole series reads as one book. Amazing. The world still expands and grows and if I read the after note correctly, there will be more of the world to explore in the future, which is great news. The plot is complex and multilayered, and so much happens, and yet the author follows all the subplots and answers all the questions apart from three which she leaves for future books. The characters are still amazing, as are they relationships. Ari grows as a person and slowly heals from her past, but there are still hardships she has to overcome. Her little family also grows and the group dynamic is quite interesting. And this book is hot hot hot. So be ware of potential blushing or sweating is you read this in public. This is the fastest paced book in the series as Ari and her group are racing against time and an unknown enemy and a very well hidden known enemy. And there are many instances where there is no clarity as to who is the friend and who is the foe. Very well done. And I can't say more without giving spoilers. I'll just say that this was an amazing series and I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. The series makes sense only if read in order. The reading order is: Hunted by Shadows (Shadowborn Series Book One), Lost in Shadow (Shadowborn Series Book Two), Embraced by Shadows (Shadowborn Series Book Three).

Great story but fell short
Hmmm. This concludes the Shadowborn series. It was a great story but I felt like overall it could have been better. Sorrry. It answered every question we had except where Sebs powers were coming from. However, it did make it clear like that might be answered in the next series with Tori and her guys. This series was not fair when it came down to the guys. I still hardly know anything about Alex. Seb and Eric are still a mystery too to me.The big ending wasn’t very exciting. I wanted so much more after reading the series. I wanted something big to happen to Terrance and Hunter.....Idk overall this series was ehhhhh to me.*Overall 3/5*Series overall 3/5*Heat 2/5 it definitely heated up in this one compared to the others, but still fell short for me*MFMMMM Romance*First person POV, mostly Ari but all the guys had bits and pieces*HEA? Yes.

Needs more
I'm a fan of Erin's writing and I enjoyed this series, so I was a little disappointed by the rushed feeling of this book. I think there was more to explore and the sudden solution to a problem that had been carefully sculpted with fantastic tension, left me bewildered and bereft.I'd still recommend this series.

Love Ari and her mates!
From the finish of book two, I just couldn’t wait to get a hold of book three. I love this series, Ari and her mates! Great story, with a lot of self growth and healing. Although I feel like there could have been more put into the story of Ari and her mates in this book. But that’s probably because there are still a lot of unanswered questions which we will hopefully find the answers to in Tori’s story. Overall can’t wait for the next adventures.

Wow
Wow. Ari and her men are all fierce in their own way. It takes quite a while for them all to truly trust each other but the wait is well worth it. The perfect conclusion after the heartache of the last books ending.
