Please note the picture shows a lid on the coffee pot feeder. I have now ordered..and returned...2 of these. Neither of them came with a lid. While the item is neat, it is totally non-functioning. In my opinion, a TOTAL RIP-OFF.

Q: Will home made suet balls fit in this, made then poured into a Dixie cup , then cut out to put into containers.

Not sure. I use black oil sunflower seed in mine. Suet balls may be too large to fit through the mesh

Q: If I order this, will mine come with a top? I really have to have a lid and these reviews about not having a lid worry me.
