These were just fine. No stripping, no problems. For people having issues, you were probably using the wrong screwdrivers. I only ordered this for the Tri-Wings, I have a nice set of fine-tip Phillips drivers already, but all the included drivers are of equal quality.Also, since it's not clear from the description or reviews, these ARE the kind of screwdrivers where the shaft passes through the handle and turns, so you can put your index finger on the top and twist. Much easier than fixed-handle ones.They're just fine, if you know what you're doing.

This is a great little kit for opening up a Nintendo Wii.I had first attempted to remove the obscure Y-Wing screws that Nintendo uses with a pocket knife. I got a couple out before I started stripping the screws. So I ordered this kit and they came out with ease. The kit also comes with new screws to put it all back together. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the screws provided are a nice touch but there are no instructions on which screw goes where on the Wii. That would be icing on the cake.As it is, this kit is well worth the money if you find yourself in need of Wii repair.

When our Wii made an unholy noise, we almost bought a new one. After looking up how to take it apart and clean it on youtube, I tried to find the special screwdrivers I needed locally, but no dice. Then I found this kit. It shipped and arrived quickly. I was able to take the Wii apart and found that my younger son had loaded a Nintendo DS game into the game slot. Took it out and put it back together, and Wii worked great. This saved me $200. This item is definitely a necessity for anyone with a game system.

Well, I bought some 'cheap' screwdriver with exchangeable tips in ebay for about $7 just for the triwing and the tips were trash, then bent so easily and were useless after few uses >( . I just threw that away...So i searched and found this kit. Don't really go for the replacement screws, it have most, but the screwdrivers where what I needed. Of course it have the triwing. I recommend this kit because it is all you need if you are into repairing your wii.

I love that it has a bunch of the screws that were missing from my sons Wii but at the same time it did not have all the tools to remove every screw in the Wii. I ran into a problem with the 6 point star screws holding in the motor that needed to be replaced. I had to order another tool to remove the motor from the mount. It's a great set of tools otherwise. I would've given 5 stars if it was a complete Repair Kit.

Received the set exactly on the day they said it would be delivered.. The set worked perfectly and has spare screws. I didn't need the extra screws this time but it was nice to know I had them if needed.. Would definately recommend this to a friend.. Used it to replace the DVD Drive on my Wii.. Now the little ones are happy.

We ordered this to try & replace the laser lens thingy on our Wii since most of the games were triggering some sort of disc-read error...(sorry to sound so dopey; I'm well-educated, but techno-challenged, so one of my sons did the actual repair.)There were no instructions... but should you really expect a set of instructions with basically a screwdriver set? My son watched a YouTube demo, and followed the directions -- now our Wii works like new! Very worth the small investment of time and a few $$. I gladly recommend this product!

i'm pretty sure my daughter's DS is beyond repair, but this little tool kit helped us discover that. And it was more cost effective than sending it back to the company for $54 just for them to tell us it was not able to be fixed. Tools were very easy to use and extra screws were a plus so we weren't so worried about losing the ones in the DS as we were taking them out.
