Easy to read. It’s large enough
This is nice looking and I can read the temperature from a distance. I found it easy to calibrate the 2 degrees it was off compared to laser thermometer. It hasn’t lived through the rainy season yet.

Nice for the price!
It looks much nicer than I expected.I have had this 15'' thermometer up for about 3 weeks. It's hung outside in a covered porch, away from direct light and protected from high wind. The temperature readings are accurate in that spot. But I am really astonished it looks this good, an unexpected bonus!

Metal case and glass but rain leaked inside one inch. . Had to seal glass.
Supposed to be for outdoor use. Disappointed in water collecting inside in one rain shower . Nice looking case.

An easy to read thermometer
I really wanted an easy to read thermometer that I could read from the pool. It is metal not plastic. Adjusted by about 1 degree out of box. Not that it matters when it is 95 degrees out!

Attractive, but, most importantly, ACCURATE thermometer.
We wanted a thermometer on our patio and previously ordered a similar, but smaller (12") one. That one was horribly inaccurate, usually off by 10 degreees or so. After reading many reviews of other thermometers, we chose this one, and I'm gald we did. Out of the box it was accurate when compared to my insta-read digital cooking thermometer. I'm sure it's not weather-station accurate, but good enough for our purposes.While I like the look of the thermometer, I had to take one star away because of the word "THERMOMETER" in big letters on the face. It's like putting the word "CAR" on a car. WE CAN SEE WHAT IT IS BY LOOKING AT IT!Outside of that, it's great. :)

Very attractive, durable construction.

Looks great, but not accurate
This is a great looking thermometer and it feels well made, but it isn't accurate. It has a temp adjustment, calibration, by turning a screw in the back, but the problem is that it displays a temp that is too high on the low end and too low on the high end. For instance, when it was 35 outside this thermometer displayed 40 and when the day warmed up to 70 it displayed 66; can't adjust when the inaccuracy is on both ends of the scale.
