Thick bottom, more even heating
I wanted a large stock pot for soups, stews, and large batches of dishes like goulash, etc. This stock pot filled the bill perfectly. I especially like the heavy bottom plate, which leads to more even heating across the entire bottom of the stock pot when using it on my electric range. It also allows me to maintain a simmer or slow boil on a lower heat setting than my older thin-bottomed stock pot. This stock pot also has nice sturdy handles, and a vented glass lid which allows me to keep an eye on the contents while cooking without having to keep lifting the lid. Great value for the money!

Perfect Size!
This pot is fantastic! It's the perfect size and is just gorgeous. I've only ever had small pots until purchasing this one. It's great for making big batches of good for meal prepping!

Long lasting; Excellent for Beer Brewing
I've been using this stock pot for the last 3 years primarily for brewing 5-gallon batches of beer on an electric stove top. It's held up extremely well, is easy to clean, and still looks great. Debris never sticks to the bottom and it's great at distributing heat. I could not recommend this item more.
