This brush set works well for applying foundation. I didn't care for using it for blush, but it works for that too. I wear liquid foundation, so I applied it to my cheeks as usual, and then used the brush to blend it. It works better if I lightly touch the brush to my face, and carefully move it around to blend it. I prefer makeup sponges over this. The brush works well, and is still working well, but I don't care for this technique. I know a lot of people like it, but it doesn't work as well as the sponge does with my foundation.I would suggest watching videos online before using this, because it helps. I think this is way too expensive for what it is. Its nice, it works well, but they price is extremely high. The price is why I gave it 4 stars, and debated on 3 stars, but the product works perfectly so I left it at 4 stars.

Takes much longer to apply foundation than just a regular brush and had to finish with my old brush to get best coverage and finish. It also pulls and tugs on the delicate skin around the eyes. Not recommended if you are older.

I am really torn on this brush. I tried it yesterday with my foundation and I liked how it applied it to my cheeks, chin and forehead. But, the rest of my face and neck - not so much. It gave my cheeks and forehead a smooth finish, but it did take more foundation than it normally would. So, it’s not convenient when you’re trying to make your foundation last. It also takes longer to apply your foundation using this brush. The blush attachment was nice for blending my contour though. It is loud and the plastic part of the brush feels cheap. However, the brushes were of a nice quality though. For the current list price at $110 – this brush set is not worth it. I wouldn’t even pay $50 for it. It didn’t come with a battery and you’d think for what this is going for, it would. If you don’t care about wasting your foundation and taking longer to apply it then this is for you. But, if you’re like me and like to make your foundation last and not spend fifteen minutes applying it then skip this set.
