My husband uses these for his jobs and said it was a God sent. It keeps him cooler and safe as it protects from direct sunlight and burns. He said it helps keeps bugs from landing on his neck when he's in the dirt.

The 'flap' - neck/ear covering too flimsy; the least amount of wind/breeze blows it off ears. Recommend buy a different product.

My headphones fit perfectly over the top of this hat. Even keeps the back flap from flying up on a windy day.

Nice for outside work, wish it had a slightly wider brim but still very useable. Material for neck back guard thing is quite thin but this is a good thing, allows air to flow easily. I also found this hat is nice for using a leaf blower or any work that spews dust all over the place if you have long hair, keeps your hair quite protected. I would add an extra star if the brim was wider or possibly more sturdy like a snapback etc.

Two things I quickly noticed when first putting this on.1 The brim is not at all stiff. it must be made of some sort of foam2 The neck cover does cover my ears some, its surprisingly loud when I move my headThe neck cover is attached by a few pieces of hook & loop, Easy to remove and I can attach the cover a bit further back to keep the fabric away from my ears.The hat has an elastic cord to hold it on to your head.Compared to a traditional baseball hat this one feels weird when wearing.
