Irish Setter Ely 6" Mens Steel Toe Work Boot

I’ve owned two pairs of this boot. They’re comfy, has good traction for non slipping, water resistant, and very durable

I’ve bought more than one pair of these Irish Setter work boots for my son. They are very durable, good quality boots. They are true to size. He’s in and out of the weather, so being waterproof is a huge plus. They do wear out, with the sole breaking/cracking but I believe it is due to my son being on his feet, constantly moving for his job. He has restrictions for what type of shoe he can wear for work, and continuously purchases this style over and over again. Being able to purchase from Amazon helps because we’ve struggled finding this boot in his size in stores several times through the years.

I own a farm. Been wearing these boots for several years now and they are comfortable and hold up very well. I’m very happy with them

Good and comfortable. The shoes is well fit on my feet only if insoles are removed. It will be better if it also has extra wide size.

These are the best boots I have ever purchased. I have wide feet and didn’t even have to break these in. I walk 10,000-20,000 steps a day at work and these have been through hell. I am a very picky person and I love these boots. About to buy my 2nd pair after 2 years

O.K..... for all you guys out there that is in food service delivery.... this is by far the most durable boot I have ever purchased. I already had a pair I bought somewhere else, but came here for my second pair. I have had my present boots for over a year and they are still in great shape. I have never had a pair of boots that lasted over a year on this job without coming apart. I run up and down spiked ramps all day and walk at least two and three miles, and sometimes more, everyday on pavement, concrete, mud and dirt and greasy floors. Most boots like these, (glued soles) would have come apart long before now... every pair I have had always have, but not these, they show no signs of turning loose.They are WATERPROOF as they say, and that is very important when you have to deliver in the flooding rain all day... and they are warm and comfortable. The only negative I can say about them is that they are not as slip resistant on greasy floors as other boots I have had... yet not so bad that it would keep me from buying them. I hope they don't discontinue them because they are a fantastic pair of boots for the price!

Comparable to other work boots they are priced well. I found them lacking in ankle support and they are a hard sole boot so, if you’re in concrete or steel every day they hurt. That being said they hold up decent, waterproofing is good, safety toe is fairly solid. It’s a good boot for a younger person getting into a trade that doesn’t wants to spend a lot but needs a decent work boot.

Before I made my purchase, I read some reviews. 50% stated the fit wasn't correct. I went to the local Red Wing store and tried on a pair. Size 12 was correct, however, I had to get a EE. These boots do not seem to run big. But if you use regular socks, then they would definitely be larger. I also purchased from the RedWing store a set of Orthotic insoles.These I need but not everyone does. Customer service at RedWing is excellent. The boot looks great and feels just as good. Yesterday was a big test as I had been working non-stop for 9 hours on a hard floor surface (not much different than concrete). My feet hurt like heck (but that's me ). after an hour break, I was surprised to feel much better and I was good for another couple hours. In summary; the boots are comfortable and light. I would definitely recommend. As far as the durability, I feel confident that they will last a long time.

Excellent work boots!

love these boots, super comfy and waterproof for a portion of their short life. Third pair of this style. BUT toe always wears out prematurely. This pair it was worn in less than 6 months and I rarely am on my knees especially on concrete. Every pair has been retired due to worn toes. For the price I pay I am a not happy and probably will move away from this brand for a less expensive boot. I have worn Redwing for years.

Nice boots, although I order wide they are too narrow.
