This is a well written guide. The author clearly has deep understanding of VXLAN and really helped me understand it better! 100% would recommend this book to any network professional. I’m going to be buying this guide for a few of my colleagues this year as well!

This mostly covers the basics of VXLAN, but it assumes too much basic knowledge of routing and BGP. In particular, it's very weak on explaining acronyms. It's very, very Cisco oriented, with zero accommodation for other vendors. I did notice some bias towards leaf routing, and eBGP, which make sense in a huge datacenter with hundreds of switches. But they didn't really address software to manage that level of complexity. If you are in a Cisco environment, it's probably excellent.

Amazing book, the content is sufficient for understand and adopt vxlan concepts

Excellent/Amazing book if you want to learn Spine/Leaf and VxLAN throughly.I can't put the book down, most of the time I spend money on books and read some sections and give up/move on.The VxLAN Fabric is explained from ground up. Very easy to follow. I would recommend anyone starting out or perhaps going for CCNP level Data Center certification.Thanks for reading and I bought the book with my own $$

This is a great read, easy to follow and much more the hands on implementation for VXLAN

When author is explaining on how to configure IGP, BGP, and EVPN, but the IP addresses scheme is inconsistent in different part. For example, in chapter 2, 10.0.0.x is used for the loopback 0 interface on leafs, but later, 1.0.0.10 and 1.0.0.20 are used instead. This make reading not consistent and difficult. My version is kindle's. Not sure if paper version has the same issue.
