What a wonderful Classic...
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens...!!!Its a Classic fiction Story... which revolves around a person named Ebenezer Scrooge, The man only gives respect to money but no one else...!!!At one point while describing Scrooge, Author writes like this "No warmth could warm, No wintry weather will chill him, No wind that blew was bitterer than he, No falling snow was more intent upon its purpose, No pelting rain less open to entreaty"In this book, A situation comes where Scrooge should meet Three Spirits : The Spirit of past, present and Future. Now the question is whether these spirits able to change the attitude of Scrooge or not and what happens to Scrooge after meeting these three spirits...!!! One should read this book and learn for themselves...!!!Its a wonderful classic... and what makes A Christmas carol Special is - "The Author : Charles Dickens" The way he express the story will leave readers speechless..!!!I Strongly recommend one to buy this book, and the following once...* A Christmas Carol* Animal Farm* The Time Machine* Frankenstein* 1984Note : I bought this book from Finger print publishers, truly speaking this book by finger print publishers is not like the usual one they have published this book with love, I must say love.... because the quality of ages and printing says so...

Wonderful item (Deluxe Gift Edition)
I'm a huge fan of this book AND I'm dead fussy. I wanted a copy of what people would have held when this story first appeared. I was very happy with what i received 'even tho I am extremely fussy and may nit pick!. and for the price its greatwhere i put nit picking aside ....... this book is a 'reproduction' of a 1922 'reproduction'. with some added notes on the author and the edition obviously the original would not have! it even has the inside end papers in the green, (which apparently would come off in your hands) . and the colour drawings. I am no expert to the finer details but I imagine this is not far off what the original 1843. Embossed back and front and not just a picture. is a great and attractive object best wrapped in brown paper and string and given on christmas eve! be sure to get from this seller tho as A Christmas Carol book reviews probably cover 'random' versions and not neccesarily this one? I've see this book listed elsewhere when in fact its just a soft back version with colour photo on the front?. This is hard backed and embossed as it appeared. even looks old.

A Christmas classic in beautiful form
I’ve read A Christmas carol many times but didn’t own my own copy. I saw this little hardback book and thought it would be lovely to have. I’m really pleased with it. The quality is excellent. The cover is nicely Illustrated and there are several other illustrations inside. The illustrations are befitting of the time and very apt. The pages are gold edged and there’s a ribbon page marker. It feels really nice in the hand and of course the story is legendary. It is nice to be able to read the original story and it’s one I’m sure I will go back to every Christmas time. This was excellent value for money and if you are buying it with your children in mind it’s certainly a story suitable for ages 8 upwards. I’m sure they would understand the slightly unusual use of language. A nice book to keep and a valuable lesson for all.

A Timeless Classic
Beautifully presented and as close to the first edition as you can get it you can't afford the real thing. Authentic with its original illustrations and even has excerps of Dicken's handwriting which I thought was a lovely touch. The story itself is just wonderful, a must read for all around Christmas. A heartwarming tale of how a little kindness can go along way, a message which is still just as important now, 180 years after the book was written.I would thoroughly recommend.
