Superb
Superb and accurate history of the Buffalo Soldiers. So courageous. My mother is a history buff and loved this book tremendously.

Worth it!
A tad bit different than what I thought, so much print on one page so my 10 year old didn't enjoy, but as an adult I enjoyed it!

Far too little
The subject matter is very important. But this book doesn’t give you remotely enough information on the subject. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the small closely prior to ordering this book. Technically it is still a book but you really get is a pamphlet. Don’t buy!

Basic Textbook Quality
The work has no notes, no sources, and no attributions. It is probably acceptable for Junior High School. The work has a bit of a slant, as well, although it is not obvious to the casual reader. The focus seems more on the Caucasian commanders than the 9th and 10th Cavalry Units themselves, and most of the information is basic. Do not purchase if you expect a scholarly monograph. I did- and am disappointed.

Read the size carefully, it's like a thin magazine
I was expecting a paper back book, like one that's 150 pages, not a thin large face book that looks like something you could read to kindergarten kids

This is a ripoff
This is my second Charles Rivers book. I should have known better; the book would not have qualified as a decent high school paper when I was in high school.Save your money and buy one of the many decent studies of the Buffalo Soldiers!
