It was actually easy to rewire two lamps, and the product is very good. However, the instructions are terrible and printed so small, that I had trouble reading them. And the printing was poor, so the font was blurry even with magnification. Just note that this kit comes with everything you need for building a lamp from scratch. I just needed to rewire two existing lamps and it took time to interpret the instructions and realize I didn't need half the things in the kit. However, once I figured out what to do, it went quickly! It has been a few weeks since I rewired the lamps and they are working just great.

This pack comes with everything that you might need to replace an old lamp fixture other than instructions on how to disassemble your old lamp. After I finally figured out how to get the old one apart, the lamp went back together easily with the parts that I needed from this kit. Some pieces I re-used from the old lamp and some from the kit as parts were interchangeable. Light works great now! Much more reliable feeling from this kit than the original lamp cord and switch.

I used these to rewire two older lamps, and it was pretty easy to do. There were no written instructions - only diagrams - and it was difficult to determine exactly where some of the small parts were supposed to go.. However, overall, the assembly was fairly straight forward, and it would be easy for anyone with a basic knowledge of how to wire a lamp.

The instructions with the diagram included are not sufficient. Difficult to read and diagram blurry and not labeled!!!!
