Excellent, simple to fit
I was a bit apprehensive as I wanted something to replace my previous pro controller but didn't want to spend £100s on a scuff. This took 15 mins to install, came with the right tools and works really well. Paddles have a responsive click and are easy to reach. I'd recommend watching some install videos on YouTube whilst waiting for delivery, as there are some really good ones with useful tips to save you time. If you are half-competent using basic tools this is simple to fit. Would buy again

Become a FPS pro
Give us a like! If you found This helpful! Super simple installation. (if you don't need the L3 R3 and touch pad) Very informative video on YouTube. Evrything included in one package which is great also added a few extra screws and pins which is a bonus if you lose them... It's a pain to find. However only issue I'm experiencing is the back buttons are very sensitive and I keep pressing them accidentally. Maybe if it was a bit more firmer it would be perfect. Edit 1: I am fully use to the buttons now and can tell you they are perfect and not sensitive. I am now the meta MLG jumping, sliding, shooting, ProPro. Edit 2: Originally ordered on 9/06/21 now its 2/12/21 One of the back buttons broke. The one i use for jumping. It has a hairline fracture on it from constant use. Which was inevitable due to it being plastic. From Roughly 200hours cod game play. Still a 5 ⭐ product. It would of been brilliant if they gave spares. Or even make metal versions.

Only decent ps5 paddle product on Amazon
Does what it claims, paddles function well, however they are sensitive and easy to accidentally click, but if you're used to paddles with care this shouldnt be a massive problem. The replacement back shell is a perfect fit, however the grip is cheap, you can tell, this isn't a premium product grip wise. The installation is relatively simple (I did not solder the extra wire) took me roughly 30-45 minutes, as long as you follow the well put together YouTube video you should be good, in short you a few ribbon cables and replace them with the ones in this pack which then connect to the new boards one sits internally and the other in the box on the back of the controller. You will run into issues if you misconnect the cables so follow the video carefully, and remember to plug everything back in. Overall pleased with the item however I think it's a little over priced for the quality. My only concern is the fact that the paddles are made out of plastic which could break with heavy use or force, however this hasn't happened to me... Yet. Like I said this is the only reasonably priced paddle attachment available at the moment for the ps5 controller that I have found, and with a decent delivery timeframe, I like the fact that it is also removable should you need to get another controller, providing you didn't solder it in. 6.5/10 for me.

Best mod I’ve fitted
Such a great mod. I went ahead and bought this after I found out you don’t have to do any soldering, if you cut a few steps out. First time took me about 45-60 mins, I do plan to do more. I even have my stream viewers wanting to send me there controllers and fit this kit for them. Works superb, feels like a professional kit. Only 2 tiny gripes. 1. One of the back buttons feels ever so slightly more loose, it works 100% no problem, just requires a touch more pressure. The other tiny con, the back ps controller case they provide, doesnt fit quite as snug as the original. But do not let these two tiny cons put you off. It’s a brilliant piece of kit, works , I have it mapped to O and X, for my fortnite play, open and close builds, and jump. Makes so much difference. I will buy more for my other controllers.

Just did not work
great packaging and seemed like a good product, installed power going to the board as it lights up but when you try to map the buttons nothing happened. Re-checked all cables and nothing removed and very disappointing as I had High hopes. Can't leave a good review when the product didn't work

Great product but periodically jittery right stick
Edit number 2: bought a new one because on the older one the jitter just kept coming back and in the end it was just jittering all over. However the jitter is back again with the new one too! So I thought that the issue I originally had was because of the small tear in the cable when I fitted. In the end I decided I would buy another - expensive but felt it was my own fault. However, again, after longer periods of play the right stick starts to jitter and fly up in the air. Unlike my first one this does settle down (or seems to at the minute) but I can only assume it’s the way the ribbon sits inside the controller. This is with a brand new kit, perfectly fitted, I’ve had a lot of practice with the first. It does still work and is better than the first. I wonder if it is periodically slipping a bit inside. I have no idea. Anyway, I do use the controller a lot, hours a day. Maybe it is me but it is frustrating when it happens. I am now leaving this review at three stars it’s a good effort and gives you paddles if that’s what you want. But I can’t help being a bit frustrated at the periodic jitter. If you can live with the chance of that then you’ll be fine. Edit: so I have changed my original review to offer a warning instead. I did think my problem might be related to the connection to the pfc rise and it was. Basically the cable is quite flimsy and moving it around a little had caused a tiny tear in the ribbon (thankfully only on the part that is used to hold it in place) - if you watch the video there are holes in the cable where you place it over the pfc rise on little plastic ‘nubs’. Anyway this meant that it was wiggling a bit and that was causing the issue. I fixed it by placing a small amount of double sided sticky tape on the underside of the cable to hold it firmly in place (also used a bit to stick it more firmly to the battery). Now played for several hours without issue. If the problem happens again I will know how to fix it. Things I’ve learned: the bad stuff The way the cable sits on top of the pfc rise is quite poor If you aren’t careful it will tear - try not to jiggle the cable around when it’s in place The positioning of that cable is vital Things I’ve learned: the good stuff I’ve had the controller apart around 15-20 times to fix the problem and it’s still going so it’s pretty resilient This product is actually quite resilient (aside from the pfc rise connection) as i have connected and disconnected it the same amount of times and it still works When fitted correctly it works a treat. I’ve edited my original comment slightly and updated my score to 4 with 1 knocked off because of the less than great pfc connection ,the need for a small warning on the video that this might happen, as well as the fitting instruction video being a little hard to see what they are doing (there is a better one available on YouTube aside front the official one if you find it I’d follow that one) Also when fitting it all back together again the front trim doesn’t quite fit properly. It doesn’t clip in to the new back exactly. It’s a minor thing but worth pointing out. Maybe again it’s just mine. Overall I’d say this was a great product that works extremely well and looks good. I am very happy with it and it comes recommended - just be careful when fitting the cable to the pfc rise! Original review: I really want to like this product but an issue with it is causing no end of problems and it just isn’t cutting it. Installation was easy without soldering. The cable is flimsy but that’s to be expected. Aligning the cable is a bit hit and miss and that is because the board itself simply ‘sticks’ to the battery and there is no accurate way of aligning it - its a bit hit and miss. The pfc rise bit simply sits on top of two notches in the controller which is less than ideal as it wiggles around and as the cable is so thin could easily pop off or even tear the delicate cable. I appreciate you are stuck with whatever you have but this could be a bit more secure and sturdy. Once fitted the kit worked really well (initially). It looks great and the triggers work really well. Programming it to your preferences is a piece of cake. It looks good too. If there hadn’t been any problems it would be 5 stars. But then the problem came. The thing worked well but after an hour or two play (battlefield and call of duty) the right stick/aim started to ‘jitter’ then got worse until it was just throwing my aim up in the air at random. It became impossible to play with it. If I put the controller down and use my other and leave it for a while (or better overnight) and come back to it it’s fine again for 30 minutes- a couple of hours, and then it starts again. I can’t be sure what is going on. It could be something I have done (although it works fine). I will do some more investigation but as it is it is next to useless - which is a shame as I think it is a brilliant product. I took the controller apart and refitted it. Same issue again so I really am not sure what to do. I may buy a new kit (expensive!) to see if it’s just this kit but as it is I’m feeling a bit deflated. So close….

Good affordable alternative
Very good product all in, takes around 30 mins to set up (use the youtube videos), however, I've used quite a lot and have now noticed cracks have appeared on the paddles, which has made them useless. I understand this is due to ware but would appreciate being able to purchase replacement paddles?

Erstaunlich Gut

Makes the PS5 DualSense my controller of choice now!
The ExtremeRate team did a fantastic job again. Before switching to the DualSense controller, I was using a DS4 controller with the ExtremeRate Dawn 2.0 mod. I like this better (yay!). Installation: This took me about 1 hour with the help of a YouTube tutorial (there are several out there). I did not solder and overall the process was not too difficult. Feel: The paddles feel good to me. My fingers rest naturally over them which is great. The paddles are very clicky, but I don't hear them with my headset on (which I consider a good thing). I saw another reviewer say that the paddles are too easy to mistakenly press. I do not have this problem, and I consider the resistance near perfect for me. I think this will depend partly on your hand size. I have average-sized hands for a guy. Performance: In game, there is no noticeable input delay compared to the controller's native buttons. I use the DualSense on my PC for Warzone and have not had any issues. Quality: Knowing that these were paddles and not buttons, I was worried about the quality of this product. Paddles have a higher tendency to break and are less efficient than buttons. Fortunately, they are holding up well so far (heavy use for almost two weeks now). I do know that these paddles have broke for other customers. That said, I know ExtremeRate is pretty good about replacing them if you send an email. Overall, I definitely recommend this, especially if you like any of their DS4 back button mods! Edit 3/13/22: Unfortunately, the PS5 controller I installed this in developed game-breaking stick drift. This is a fault of the PS5 controller, NOT this kit!! That said, in order to replace the controller, I would need to uninstall the kit and reinstall in a new PS5 controller. Considering this was the 4th PlayStation controller I had gone through in less than 2 years (terrible stick drift in all four), I decided it was no longer worth it. I instead have bought an Astro C40 controller. Already has back buttons, 6-month warranty, and entire sticks are replaceable, fixing stick drift for just $20 and 2 mins of your time.

Best option for Dualsense backbuttons right now.
Works great. Make sure the product you buy is compatible with your controller (BDM-010 or 020) though. But I believe the now make them to be compatible with both generations. One of my wings broke. Seller sent me spares free of charge. I cut a piece of sticky felt (the type you stick under furniture legs to prevent scratching) and stuck it underneath the wing between the wing and the back of the controller. You might have to adjust the thickness by cutting it. But this worked and it never broke again. I think Extremerise is aware of the problem. And they might have fixed this issue by now. So perhaps not 100% perfect yet, but right now the best option for backbuttons on a Dualsense controller imo.
