Cette méthode est vraiment excellente. Par de petits morceaux simples accompagnés d'un CD, l'enfant découvre et apprend le violoncelle progressivement. Dans ce volume, c'est pour jouer à plusieurs, mais l'enfant peut apprendre et répéter seul sans aucun soucis.

Not sure why I have been asked to review this item that I ordered on 7th November as I have still not received it yet!! - any ideas as to where it may be?

I have a violin and cello group for 7 - 9 year olds and we love this book. They can generally start playing the easier part after only one term of lessons and the harder parts are about Grade 1 standard. Even the ones that are getting near Grade 2 enjoy the music, so everyone is happy. The tunes are fun, incorporating different styles. and are worth playing. I also like the fact that the pieces are several minutes long. This makes them work well in concert rather than short pieces of 16 bars or so. I don't normally write reviews but because I have found this book so successful, I thought I'd give it a plug. The piano accompaniments are good, too, and most of them are easy enough for a basher like me to get through. The CD is a great back up and the speeds on it seem ok for my crowd of young string players. Usually, I have to adapt popular tunes for my group but this book has been a godsend.
