Really impressive book. along with ancient ads for punk merchandise from the era,vintage fashion layouts,and a timeline of the evolving movement,it really displays a sense of the impact of punk fashion globally. Dont expect a musical history lesson,though. Not what this is about, although ads for t-shirts have band names and band members are here throughout. My fave guilty pleasure, early billy idol band, generation x,are on the cover,in charismatic naivete. Want a time machine? Care for nostalgia and young handsome faces and forms adorned in the idealism of 40 plus years ago? Maybe this book is for you...
