Red Co. Vintage Oversized Key and Lock Hooks, Set of 4 - Cottage Style

I purchased this product for a new home in the country - industrial farmhouse decor. They were installed in each of the bathrooms as towel holders. No one at my house ever put their towel neatly up to dry and when they did the bathrooms always looked a bit messy. Problem solved. I get compliments all the time for a hanging towel LOL.

I’d give this product 5 stars. We use them as coat hangers in a fairly noticeable place. Being there they have to look good. That alone would give them the 5 stars. They LOOK great. A real vintage look. BUT now the reason they come up short. And short is the correct term. The mounting screws are way to short. When you put them in the fixtures hole, they barely touch the wall. I made a hardware store run. Now they look great. To the manufacturer....get longer screws.

I need a vintage looking towel rack and had a window frame I wanted to use. I bought these to be the hooks for the towels. These are amazing. Heavy and beautiful. I love them. I only used three in my current project and will be using the other for something else. I am going to buy more because there are so many things you can use them for.

The hooks themselves are adorable and have a great look. But, they come with half inch screws, which look like they will not anchor the hooks to the wall, let alone keep the hooks up the moment that half a pound is hanging off of them. Thankfully, we have our own drywall hooks, but the smallest screw that could support reasonable weight can’t fit into the hole properly, so they’ll be sticking out. It’s a poor design, and definitely not worth $30 for such a headache to figure out.

The hooks themselves are great! Bigger and super sturdy in person. Was surprised by the weight of them but per other reviews you will need to take a trip to the hardware store and purchase proper screws and anchors. The hardware that’s included is a joke. So I used these for extra towel hooks in a bathroom and spent $20+ more for proper hardware. Again the hooks themselves are great with the vintage vibe I was hoping for. Extra assembly and knowledge of proper installation required

I think these LOOK really good. They’re obviously solid metal and have a white washed appearance that accents the vintage vibe they give off. They’ll be a great accessory for the wall we’re decorating.However, mine are crooked. Like, the key doesn’t line up with the keyhole if you’re looking dead on, and they’re a pain to install because they’re pretty heavy on average drywall walls. I managed! But I don’t know if I’ll put a lot of weight on them.

Really great shabby chic style hooks with a subtle fleur de lis pattern. These are very heavy, as they are cast iron, so be sure to use drywall anchors, the screws provided are not sufficient at all. I will be attaching them to a board that I will be painting similar to the hooks, then drilling into the studs. This will give the weight of the hooks and the things hanging from it some stability. The pre-drilled holes do not match (another reason for the board).

These are so neat and unique. Great quality. My only complaint is that you have to use screws to install them. I wasn’t super happy putting those holes in my walls but it was worth it once they were up. I absolutely love them.
