VaultzMedium Pool Pouch, Hello Summer

The Vaultz Locking Pool Pouch is fantastic. We were able to safely secure several IDs and credit cards, cash, four cell phones, and a Kindle with room to spare. This bag is not Fort Knox but an excellent deterrent. Setting up a combination is simple and using the tether is easy. I would have given the pouch five stars except for one issue we experienced. It is very easy to accidentally reset the combination without realizing it and there is no universal reset. This happened to us and because the bag is not built like Fort Knox we were able to cut it open with regular scissors to retrieve our items. Clearly, it was our mistake but I would suggest making the ability to reset the combination a bit more deliberate. However, I did purchase this pouch again as soon as we got home from vacation. I would highly recommend this product to anyone...just be a bit more careful than we were.

Bought this bag for a Caribbean resort trip. Wanted a small bag to hold ID, money and phone and be able to lock it to a beach chair while swimming. Bag was the perfect size and worked fine for the first couple of days. On the third day it stopped working and the the 3 digit combination would NOT open. As the locked bag was now tethered to a beach chair with my room card, ID and phone, I had to get a hotel maintenance person to cut the wire and then cut the bag open with a knife to get my stuff out. The only good news.......the wire was difficult to cut and he had to cut the bag 4 times with the knife to get into it. I would not buy another one!

Got the product and was impressed with the function of what it would do. That is where it stopped. I set the code, tried it multiple times at home before using it and it did work but was not smooth. I tried to set a different code that also worked with no issues. Got to our hotel destination and I tried to lock and unlock it and it was pretty sticky but it did work. It just was not a smooth, slide and flip the lock opens.I attached it to the chair and had our hotel keys in it.......keys and lock are still stuck to the chair because it would not open. I asked a maintenance person to help but it did not work. They ended up having to cut the lock cable off the chair and am hammer and screwdriver to break the lock open.All in all, not a product I would buy again and not sure how I can get money back for it.

I bought one of these for our trip and after I opened it and set the code, it would not open with the code. So I called amazon and they sent me a new one. ( By the way the instructions are INSIDE the bag! There is a video I suggest you watch on how to set it ) After I received the new one I set the combo again and it seemed fine. We took it on our vacation and the first two days it worked perfect. On the 3rd day the lock seemed like it didn't want to close right so we didn't use it because I didn't want our cell phones and kindles to be locked to a chair in the Bahamas. When we got back to the room I did the combo to test it out without anything in it and just like I was afraid of, it locked and we can't open it. So if we would of used it that day at the pool we would of locked all our stuff to a chair and would not of been able to open it! The bag itself is good, its padded and the zipper is sort of sealed with a rubber cover. The downside is the LOCK! They need to start over with a better quality lock and then they will have a good product. I loved the idea, but was glad I didn't get it locked forever to a chair on vacation.

Running out of options for a beach trip and something reasonably priced that also laid pretty flat to fit in a suitcase, I purchased this item.It does okay. I wouldn't call it anything special however. It is smaller than I anticipated and hoped for. I can't fit an iPad mini in it, but it did the job of a wallet, phone and small small items while at the beach.While we didn't have any problems with the lock or combination itself the little "lever" that you have to turn to click into the hole has to be situated just perfect to fit or else it won't fit. Not in terms of alignment with the hole, but more of when the bag is open and the lock mechanism is open it has to be twisted in just the perfect way to get it to turn down and latch.Otherwise, nothing to rave about but it did the job if you have a need for something small, flat and inexpensive.
