Let Me Hold You (McClain Brothers)

I really loved Leland and Kim together. I was hoping her son would come around and join the family. Guess he has some more counseling and has more growing up to do. All in this was a great story. And the country ass Uncle is by far my favorite person.

K listen I love me some Big South but bbbaaabbbyyy LeLand is EVERYTHING. I loved him in book one but book 2 got him being book bae. The bantering, Unc crazy ahh and everyone else in this book had me dying laughing.

Amazing book I’m loving the McClain series ! I highly recommend can’t wait to see what’s next in book 3

I would recommend this book. It was a little slow in the beginning, but it got better in the end. I thought her son should have had more consequences for his actions.

I love the fact that this is a quick read, but so entertaining. I found myself getting deep into the book and getting lost. It's a great follow up to book 1.

Leland is #1! Top of every chart. I love this man more than words could say. Whew Ms. House you put something in this.Ok, but really. Let me start by saying that I almost skipped this book. I don't like age gap where the woman is older. I have had bad IRL experience with it so I usually skip anything and everything that could tangle with that trope.BUT I really liked Leland in Book 1. I felt like he would be a fun character if I just gave him a shot.This man had my giggling and blushing like he was talking to me. I LOVE him so much. The way he treats Kim and the whole situation is so well handled. I didn't expect a few of the twists thrown in, so you bet I was bouncing on the bed shouting at my kindle when they came.This book deserves more than 5 stars. It's so dang good. Don't stop to question it. Read the dang book.It is marked as a standalone but 100% recommend reading it AFTER book 1. It helped make stuff make so much more sense.

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed this novel in the series. This 2nd installment was a drastic improvement. The author very clearly exhibited growth in this sophomore title. It’s still not quite my genre but hubby loves it so we’ll continue the series together.

The first one was great but I enjoyed this one so much more. It was Leyland's personality and sense of humour. Realistic and well written.Gotta read number 3.

This is the second book in the series and it’s just as good as the first one. These McLain brothers are great and I’m glad this one didn’t have to compromise to get his happy ending.

I enjoyed Kim and Leyland's story but Kim did annoy the hell out of me. I felt she could have handled her son earlier in her relationship and stop the drama. Plus I felt she allowed him to get away with too much even when the reason was revealed for why he was so controlling over her life.

I really enjoyed the story . Leland was so ready to be with Kim , she just wasn’t aware of it . I loved the update with Ev and Jo . Let’s start book 3 .

I don’t usually like series’s but this one is a good one. Everyone wants a Leland and he’s one male character that I’ve come across that has had real common sense, in a long time…I hope that made sense, it’s late and I’m too tired to rewrite it or formulate my thoughts into proper sentences so with that being said—Just get the book.
