If you have a fitting problem, going up next size may not be the solution!
There is enough said about how brilliant these boots are, and I agree especially being one of the lightest light hiking boots on the market. Therefore this review title on a not common subject. On the photo, the mens grey black (UK 6) next to womens khaki like (UK7). For me the 6 is tiny, perhaps a 1 / 6 size small? Therefore my longer foot’s smallest toe is being wedged in, everything fits perfectly, but still 6 is a no go for me! There is no point going up 1 / 2 size in mens as that would make it too large! I ordered a women’s 7 as research online indicates a full size difference between men and womens, also in addition, the female foot whilst overall narrower than the male foot, the forefoot part in girls widens / diverges than boys foot.Well this turns out to resolve the smallest toe space problem on the longer foot and although the 7 is tiny, perhaps 1 / 6 larger (1 /2 size divided by 3!) (see the photo, it is a bit longer), the fit is good enough to use. Therefore any man out there with the problems of where their regular size is fractionally not fitting in some parts, but cannot be solved by going up the next size up in mens versions, try the equivalent womens (in this brand model is 1 size up) version. Also due to anatomical differences, the mens version here has lesser ankle support and weighs more than the women's equivalent -- being the major contrast. (advantage or disadvantage depends on your body weight and intended use?).For me so far, i have not encountered any snags with using women's equivalent as long as the fit is satisfactory, If i had choice, i would have wanted to stay with mens 6 as the lesser ankle support (lower cut than the womens) offers more freedom of movement, but this is offset by the lower weight of the women's 7.This review for blokes fitting advice, i will post a similar one on the womens!

Comfortable and dry
Had these for a week and did some good miles around the countryside and happy with the fit and comfort, always been dry at the end of the walks but haven't fully submerged them but seem to be good at keeping out the water so far

Not waterproof
I’ve only given 3 stars because first time in the rain both shoes leaked at the seams. However I would have liked to have given 5 stars for the customer service, they were excellent and had the problem sorted within 2 hours and arranged a replacement pair.Quality service like this is a rare these days!!!

Comfortable but not waterproof
I’ve had these boots a year I can honestly say they are very comfortable and well made ,however they are not fully waterproof and if you’re out in the rain moisture does come through the mesh on on the top

Soft and light
Quite a good pair of boots for long walks and cold winter days/nights. Definitely recommended.
