Works Great and Easy to Use
Just received Oil Change extractor pump and tried it for the first time to pull some transmission fluid from my old pick up. It words fine and pumps as good as you need. (some folks say its slow). I pulled about 3 quarts in about 10 minutes. I found that acceptable for this little pump and at the cost.I was concerned that the pump needed to be primed but it primed itself. Dont know it is supposed to do that but it did, so that made things easier. The pump is small, plastic but well made. The hoses and hose clamps came with the pump. 4 hoses came with the kit. 2 flexible 3/8"ID hoses and 2 1/8" semi flex hoses. Using the 3/8 hoses on the discharge is find but you need to use the 1/8" semi flex hoses on the suction otherwise the flex hose will collapse and restrict the flow. (Hey, everything has its learning curve)I would recommend this pump kit and will buy it again if I need one later.

Works well
I have a Cub Cadet lawnmower from which I could never remove the oil drain plug. It has been a pain to use a manual pump which just makes a mess. I hooked this up according to instructions with the small hose going into the oil dipstick opening and the larger going out to the drain pain. The only issue I had was that I apparently tried to put it too far in the dipstick port and it was kinking. When I backed it out some it worked - pumped it right out rather quickly. The mower holds 1.8 qts and I dumped that in so it was fine. Had no issues and great to just hook it to the mower battery.

Surprised
I needed to empty an old fuel oil tank and this worked surpising well.. For the money in a pinch did the job of the commerical pumps do.. I havent really tested for daily use, as im sure the plastic may not hold in time.. but for those now and then jobs... worth every penny

Didn't Work
Bought one of these last year to change oil in my outboard motor and it worked fine. So, when I needed one to put clean oil in my motorcoach, I bought another one. Looks like I just got lucky with the last one. The new one did not work. It made a high pitched ringing tone, but never pumped. So, I got the one from last year out. Put clean hoses on it and thought I could use it. No the old one is not working now. Looks like the quality control is not there. Hit and miss, mostly miss.I do not recommend this purchase.

It's a no-brainer.
So I was watching a video the other day and how to change the oil on a car i recently purchased used. And when they change the oil instead of using the drain plug they use this pump. This is the first time I ever seen something like this use before. It was so simple. It kind of blew my mind. Why isn't this a more popular way of changing oil?It takes out a big step of where most people make a little mess of oil and spill it on the concrete or whatever. This just sucks it out and puts it in a oil container. The first time I use it and kept on shutting off and that it was due to not use in the clamps that it supplied with the pump. At first I thought oh it seem like it would be a snug fit and it wouldn't have an issue but they kept on shutting down. I couldn't figure out why and then I put the clamps on and I had zero issues. So far I've used it on two vehicles. First one had the issue of the pump shutting down but it did get all the oil out eventually. The second time I used it was just yesterday and I use it on my minivan which holds six and a half quarts of oil. At first I didn't think it was going to work because I kept on shoving the plastic tubing down the dipstick hole and it would just keep on going until I ran out of hose.I ran the pump anyhow and it sucked out six and a half quarts of oil. The only thing is I still had to get underneath the vehicle and remove the oil filter but that's pretty easy and not as messy. I got to say it was probably the easiest oil change I've ever done. I would highly recommend this to anybody. I don't know how long the longevity is going to last on this product but if it lasts me a few years I would be totally happy. I do drive Uber and I do my own maintenance. This just speeds up something I have to do pretty much every month and a half to two months. Altogether we have six cars and I am going to use this product on every single one. If anything fails I'll come back and see if I can change this review and mention but, so far so good. We have six cars all together so lots of oil changes to be done. I will try and update this review in about 4 to 6 months. By then I should have changed all the vehicles oil.
