Q: Can you bake a smaller pizza on a larger screen or do you need a screen for each different sized pizzas you want to make?

Smaller pizza is fine. I get the biggest that fits in my oven and storage space. Also, I get a solid aluminum pan the same size for cutting.BTW, I use the screen in convection oven to make things crispy, particularly frozen or reheated French fries.

Q: I am confused. I bought the 9" size suposedly aluminum. When it arrived, instructions said it could rust if not treated properly. Why if aluminum?

I have had mine for about 4 months and no problem with rust. However, I just wipe mine clean with a damp cloth and never put in dishwasher. Apparently, not all of is aluminum.

Q: Can this product be used in a frying pan in the oven?

There is no reason I can think of why it can not be used. It is a pizza screen designed to be used under a pizza in a pizza oven. Pizza ovens are usually very hot - as much as 500 degrees.
