The cord works well but I have had to replace it due to it fraying near the insertion point at the battery block. Putting consistent tension on that location will wear through the cover lining. If the cord is not stretched or tangled, it should last for a very long time.

I ordered a power chord. I was delivered on time and when I used it, it charged my computer, so it worked as expected.

Though not specifically noted, this adapter works flawlessly for the 150 watt HP Envy too. I tried to get one from HP but was VERY disappointed with their customer service and was told to go retailer and find a third party adaptor. I am delighted that I gave this one a try.

As a secondary ac chargers does its work, but it overheats too much when using many % of ram, cpu and gpu usage (40 - 80) and its even worse when aprox of the 90% and I get worried for my battery.

Heated up to dangerous levels from the beginning, did not fit accurately (and yes it was supposedly the correct charger for my laptop, I researched for hours AND called HP), and it didn’t even last 4 months before it quit working entirely. Made in China trash (writing on the back is in Chinese). Zero stars.
