Excellent Entry Level SUP
For the price this is an excellent beginner board. It's shape (short and fat) makes it more stable than other boards I have paddled. The specs say it supports paddlers up to 275 lbs. I think anyone over 250 would have difficulty.

I like the size
Product as advertised. I like the size. Very stable. My grandkids love it. Age 5 - 18 all have fun riding/ paddling it by themselves.

Don't waste your money.
I would give this thing no stars if possible. Owned this paddle board for 14 months and it split down the seam and is now garbage. Used this board for paddling on the ocean and stored in the garage when no in use. It was very heavy and hard to lug around, but now that is split in half it is garbage. Buy a better quality board, you get what you pay for.

Fun easy paddleboard, my kids love it - but fins fall off!
We have had a lot of fun with this paddleboard. My kids can manage it - but it also holds adults. Fun color (orange).Only downside is the fins seem to fall off easily - and have been lost in the lake. The board does not work without the fins..Going to call to see if I can get a replacement part.

Lots of Fun!!
I purchased this paddle board from a big box store for much less than what Amazon is charging and have been using it for about 3 months now. I absolutely love that it is hard plastic. I can throw it in my truck bed and do not have to worry that I'm damaging it. My kids are pretty rough on the board and still no problems. I've paddled on calm waters as well as at the beach (Gulf of Mexico). I am 190 pounds and this board is very stable. I think the specs say that it can handle up to 220 pounds. I am very happy with this board however here are a couple things you need to know...First, the paddle that comes with it is terrible. I was digging in, paddling hard ard and it snapped in half on me. The store replaced the paddle but two weeks later the same thing happened. I went ahead and got a really nice fiberglass paddle and I'm enjoying the board even more now. Second, the removable fins are really annoying. The are difficult to adjust. That's about it. This is a great way to get into SUP!

It'll get you on the water (if you can get it on the water :)
The price was right (I did follow the advice of one of the previous reviewers and bought the board from a big chain store, saving $200). The board is a heavy-duty one so yes, it might last your life time :). It's very stable and spacious. You can carry some cargo or a passenger on it. This is all good. Now, not so good. You might think that 40 lbs not such a big weight. But there is no way to hold this board. The only way, if you want to do it alone, would be to carry it under your arm, but you need to have a REALLY long arm! Mine is not long enough :) I either need to ask for help, and to carry it holding from two ends, or use a dolly. Now, I don't know what's wrong with its design or fins, we tried all possible fins positions, but the board still goes in circles. Or, if you change the side of a puddle often enough, it would be zigzags with sharp corners. It's almost the same if to use this board without fins at all! It give me an enormous work out, if I try to go any significant distance. No way you could use it for races.Well, here comes the worst: mine gets filled with the water. I am not sure if all of them have this problem. Last summer I tried to paddle in the race around Belle Isle, on Detroit River. I came in the last after 4+ hours of paddling, while an average time was under 3 hours. Fine, I still loved it, but the last several hundred of yards the board became totally unmanageable. I had to wade it to the finish. Then I just could not pull it from the water! Two men had to help me. It turned out that the board in half-filled with the water. How it got there, I have no clue!So... I'd say it's rather a raft than an SUP. But then, rafts are not supposed to get the water in...
