works great for application

Previously I tried to get a Radeon RX580 to work with my old Dell T3400 workstation PC. After fighting with the AMD drivers for over a few days I gave up and returned the AMD product. I had high hopes looking for an old GPU to put into my T3400. Just so I can play my 4K videos I edit. All videos are made on my Pixel6 phone in 4K but my old PC could not edit nor play back any 4K videos. Just out of impulse, I decided to try the GT1030 4gig card and installed in 5 minutes and after Windows 10 updated the Driver, I downloaded the driver from NVidia for the latest update driver. My old PC has gained a new life. Well at least for the time being. This old Dell T3400 can finally play my 4K videos. This will become my backup PC once I get my 12th Gen Intel I7 PC running this month with a RTX 4070. Very happy with my impulse buy of just about $100. To give my old PC some more life. It replaced a 2gig GT710 GPU.

A family member had their monitor burn out and a 4K monitor was bought. Sadly, the built-in video card in the older computer was not strong enough to support the max resolution. This video card did exactly that. And it is fine for a computer that is used for surfing, basic desktop work, etc. But once you want to watch a full-screen 4K video it struggles. Badly. To be fair here, the 10-series were not built for 4K. But it needs to be said: it is one thing to do static work on 4K resolutions; once you go to a high-quality media display this is not the card you are looking for. So this card does what it needs to do - and it will perform fine for most things in resolutions under 4k. It is affordable and available. But don't buy this one for high-quality gaming or intensive video or animation work.

Excellent product and works well in my 15 year old Dell XPS 8300.

This GPU isn't the top of the line, but paired with my 60hz 2560x1600 HP monitor, it's given me crystal clear images with good FPS in Halo Infinite (@1366x768 for H.I. only), Kerbal Space Program, and Automation, the Car Company Tycoon Game. Though in Beam.NG, visual settings have to be set to Low for decent-good FPS. It keeps at a decent temperature (35-45°C) while being run at 100% consistently. If you're looking for a good GPU for 3D dense programs such as Second Life, this one is more then capable with the sacrifice of FPS (25-30 at High, 10-15 at Ultra graphics settings).

I loved it until it failed... After a while it turns the screen black, and when it comes back on, the screen is covered with artifacts.

I used this on an older computer that would not run WOW. After installing this video card WOW worked great.

In PC mit 300 Watt Output- Netzteil eingebaut, um einen neuen 27-Zoll Monitor per HDMI anzuschließen. Hatte zuvor nur VGA. Mache keine PC-Spiele mit hohen Leistungsanforderungen, nutze u. a. den PC aber auch als zweiten TV. Alles ok, bin sehr zufrieden.
