Absolutely needed to upgrade basic needles!
This was my first time swapping out and upgrading my Victrola Brand turntable stylus "needle" it fit my basic Victrola, my 7 in 1 Victrola, and my 8 in 1 Victrola. This is a MUST HAVE upgrade for these players. It will not only improve your sound quality, it's much better for your albums in all aspects. The basic needles installed are ok if you are someone who only listens to vinyl on occasion, if you listen everyday this upgrade will add longevity to your albums.Basic VS This upgradePlays about 100 hrs before your sound quality diminishes. VS claimed 1000 hours, I haven't played 1000 hours yet but I could hear the difference from spin 1The cost is not a big jump for the upgrade. Especially when you add in the longevity factor. An occasional listener may never need to change a needle again.

Happy to say both styles fit my A + S ...
Just got these today, Easter ( can't believe USPS had to work ) 2 days early, any how, I bought a nostalgia 6 in 1 from a home store ( Big Lots ) it's an Art+Sound model ; the GOSO is a clone ( visa versa ) any way I also bought the Banpa two pack as I wasn't sure if either would fit.Happy to say both styles fit my A + S and play wonderfully.I kept the diamond stylist in and will have the sapphires as backup, so far no skips sound does seem crisper ( though the original needle is still in good shape ) sounds better.I'll give it 5 stars as it does as it says and fits nicely so trimming or alterations .

Read this if you had problems with these. It may fix your problem
Well, when I first put one of these on my Victrola Record Player, I got a lot of unwanted static sounds on a brand new, never before played record. At first I thought, "Maybe I'll try one of the other needles, since they came 3 in a pack". So I tried one of the other 2, Same problem. So, I then put my old stock needle back on and the static was gone. But instead of giving up, I put one of these new ones back on and yes, static again. So then I changed out records for one that had been played before, still static. But I decided to go ahead and leave the record play, Glad I did. About half way through the first side of the record, I noticed the static was gradually getting better. So I left the first side of the record play. By the time the second side of the record had played half way through, There was NO MORE STATIC. Now my vinyl sounds awesome and even a bit louder with these new needles. My guess is, The needles pick up static electricity from the plastic packaging they come in, or maybe even from bouncing around during shipping. And like every brand new thing you buy, you just have to break them in. 4 stars because they could be packaged a lot better. But once you get rid of the static electricity, your vinyl's will sound as good as ever with these!

Works great. ...Well it did but it may be the player
Skip free replacement for Victrola suitcase players. May be more sensitive to dirt on records so clean them very well.review a few weeks later.,, I sent them back.. So here is the story. I purchased 2 Victrola suitcase players and the records skipped right out of the box. Numerous records. Some played great. It seemed the new 180 gram records skipped and i mean slid across numerous groves sometimes. So I bought these as the Victrola Manufacturer said this player was incomparable with 180 gram records. Well they are. I played a few records fine but my daughter and niece both said they still skipped. I cant blame these needles its the player im sure but the seller said, if you dont like them return them. So here we are. Sorry

Great upgrade, good value
This is a vast improvement over the stock needle in my victrola suitcase player. I expected a moderately better sound, but was pleased beyond expectations. Easy to install, and affordable. Longevity not rated, as I've only used it about 10 hours. I will say however, that's already longer than I got out of the garbage stock needle that came with my player. It is important to note that although I have a relatively cheap record player, I do play it through a proper stereo system. While the sound quality is improved through the onboard speakers, it's much more prominent through headphones or a quality speaker system.

Pretty good quality needles
Great and easy to put on replacement needles. I am glad I got these and sound quality is pretty good. My records sound better than with previous needle. It is as advertised and so glad I got these. I have an Exuby and these fit.

Defective needles packaged improperly!
I normally don’t write reviews on Amazon but in this case I had no choice. This product is DEFECTIVE from the get-go. I believe this is because of the way they were packaged. The needles are smashed up against hard plastic. I’m not sure why as these needles are very fragile. I tried one on a new record that I also cleaned before I started it up and immediately there was a loud whining squeal that was emitting from the player. I tried the other two needles and the same problem occurred. The ear-bleeding sound reminded me of the sound that would come from other needles I had purchased previously that had 1000 hours+ of play time. That logically, lead me to the conclusion that they were broken. Go with the Electrohome conical-shaped Saphirre tipped needles instead. They’re packed very carefully and will last forever. I’ll be returning these defective needles promptly.

Good quality... when it works
Gave three stars because the first needle in the pack didn’t work! Lucky that the second did. The first one kept sliding to the middle of the record and playing bits and pieces. Took it off and on to no prevail. Sound quality is good tho! When you can get it to work lol. For reference, I have a Victrola ITUT-420. Victrola stopped making the replacements, so I had to go off brand.
