Dymon DYM 23301 Liquid Alive Enzyme Producing Bacteria, 1gal Bottle (Pack of 4),Clear,ITW23301

I purchased 8 gallons of this item. There's no expiration dates anywhere but hopefully they're fresh. I used 6 gallons for 2 room carpets (1 room half furnished) + 3 rugs.It DOES work, that's the main 5 star rating. However I had to continuously spray 1:8 diluted solution of this onto both rugs (face up AND backing) and carpets 3x per day for 12 days with a day inbetween to dry and sniff with my nose every inch in order to rid OLD dog urine odors from both carpet and rugs.I used this on:12 yr old carpets (last professionally cleaned 9 yrs ago)2 yr old 8'x11' rectangular cream color shaggy rug2 yr old 6'x6' round crean color shaggy rug5 yr old 5'x7' rectangular tan color berber rugThis Dymon enzyme product got out ALL of the old dog urine odors and most of the old dog urine stains, mostly faded but still slightly stained the carpet. There are no stains left on my rugs though, this got rid of any and all stains on my rugs on both upper and backing but asides from dog urine I didn't have other stains on my rugs.My 3 rugs I rinsed throughly with warm water after the last dousing and drying of Dymon until water ran clear then set on top of raised screened boxes to dry before vacuuming. The scent of Dymon, which another reviewer correctly identified as smelling of "a clean public restroom", still persisted but only faintly. I think if you want to rid the scent fully you'll have to use Dawn or laundry detergent then rinse for a long time, which I wasn't willing to do.Prior to ordering this item I had several quotes from professional cleaners. All of them told me old dog urine stains wouldn't fully be removed. And for full carpet cleaning for 2 rooms (1 room half furnished) + 3 rugs including pet odor neutralizer for all of it was an estimated $550-$650.Instead I purchased 8 gallons of Dymon + an 8lb tub of Capture Dry Cleaning carpet powder = $176.21 from Amazon. I also made sure there were no odors left by sniffing EVERY INCH of rugs + carpet EVERY TIME they dried after spraying/dousing with the Dymon inbetween repeated spraying/dousings prior to using the Capture powder (left on carpet & rugs for 48 hrs) Sniffing is something professional cleaners would never do so I made sure my items were completely cleaned down to the carpet pads multiple time = thoroughly clean unlike the one time cleaners would go over with their equipment. Granted this took me weeks to complete displacing my furniture to my patio area during the process, but still happy with my grit and determination in having completely cleaned my items!Also I used a manual pump gallon pesticide sprayer (also purchased on Amazon) to spray the Dymon solution, a tip from another reviewer of a different enzyme solution.I must say this item is the strongest commercial enzyme solution cleaner found anywhere. Will always keep in stock at home though the scent is horrible. Thank you to Dymon.

I only have two large area rugs and some new carpet runners (for an elderly dog with mobility issues) in the entire house and my new puppies seem to limit their few accidents to carpeted areas so I was very happy to find such a great deal on Liquid Alive - a product I first became aware of ~15 years while shopping at a vacuum repair & cleaning supply shop.It works as well as I remember from years ago. I used to live in a house with carpet everywhere except the very small entryway, kitchen and bathrooms along with a cat, dogs and a steady stream of foster dogs. Fortunately, there weren't many potty or urka gurka accidents but when there were I made sure to spritz the area with Liquid Alive after cleaning up the mess itself. Since I had a dog door there were times when wet, muddy dogs came in an left a lot of my backyard inside the house. I'd use cleaning solution in my Hoover steam vac then go over the area a second time to remove any residue as the detergents will attract dirt. Instead of using plain water for the rinse I'd use water and Liquid Alive.After 9 years we decided to move and it was amazing to see the state of the carpet when everything was packed and moved out. My light beige carpet had only a couple of pet stains downstairs and two more in the master bedroom where the dogs slept every night. The realtor came in before we replaced the carpet and remarked that he could tell there had been pets in the house but there weren't strong or unpleasant smells - he had no clue that we'd had a fairly large number of dogs living there for almost the entire 9 years. I attributed this to my use of Liquid Alive.Currently, my senior dog is sometime unable to get up and out the dog door to relieve herself so I clean up any messes then spritz with a solution that is 1:1 Liquid Alive and water. I keep my dogs away from the spots of wet Liquid Alive/water solution until it dries which only takes a few minutes. I also put a splash into the washing machine when I wash dog beds and dog towels.Just be sure to shake well before use and rinse with water if the solution gets on skin. I know some people will dislike the smell of the Liquid Alive - it's quite strong - but I don't have an issue with it.

This is a wonderful cleaner! I first purchased this because it was recommended on a dog fan page. I have several animals and my worst fear is grody smell in my house! I can confidently say that I am able to clean any accidents up and maintain a clean smelling home! I’ve tried other enzyme based cleaners, and skeptical me was pleasantly surprised with the results. You can’t go wrong, and well worth the value! 4 gallons of cleaner for that price?! Great deal

Works wonderfully for neutralizing pet odors. We have a Yorkie that refuses to pee outside. So, I'm cleaning carpets ALL the TIME! This works well to kill the odor and saves my carpet!

This stuff is wonderful. I used it as a custodian and in my home. Great for grease vats, dumpsters, and something simple like freshening carpets. Also have used it to freshen U-haul trucks. You can even put some in a bottle and spray counters. I would definitely recommend this product because it has worked every time

This item is really good and it helps keep things from smelling moldy. It works great if you have bet accidents on the carpet

We LOVE it! Shares and networked your product to friends and animal rescue laundry, floors, use in spray bottles to cleaning. Best on the market that's my true opinion.
