Perfect! Highly recommended! It’s easy to clean and no wrinkles because it’s plastic Vinyl. Matte on one side and glossy at the back side. perfect for shooting food like sandwiches or burgers direct into it because you can easily wipe the oil or water, it’s totally better than the paper backdrop!

After using the Selens' white PVC backdrop for a product photography session this past wee, we were impressed with final creative outcome! Excellent value, wrinkle-free resistance, and ease of assembly make it a totally win for our agency.

This is technical equipment and you need to handle with some thoughtfulness and technical care. This is a tough plastic and splits easily on the edge (brittle), so requires some hand eye coordination and inventive mounting that does not try to handle the backdrop's weight with say... pushpins or staples. I take product photos for my online businesses and have used my current one for 3 years. I am replacing it with the same because there are few comparable offerings. I like this background for it's durability. I take a wide range of product photos from cast iron pans to fine linens, so the ability to clean is important. ArmourAll Cleaner makes fast work of greasy stains, and the PVC has a reasonable resistance to scratches. I however am replacing it now because after 3 years and thousands of products (and hundreds of cleanings!) not to mention flipping it several times (permanent mounted) it's beyond servicing ...but it so affordable. It *does* require mounting that doesn't stress the edge, and it does require "uncurling". I originally followed the directions to roll reversed and that worked fine. Later I discovered light application of a home hair blowdryer worked wonders to relax any warping (don't get too hot!) I will likely carefully try that method to warm and relax (uncurl) my new one. Wow I just realized I spent like $10 a year for my photographic background Business needs ...that's 5 stars all day long! -GSaleHunter

How many rolls of seamless paper do you go through for product photography? Well with this you'll never have to cut your seamless after a shoot. I've had this product for over a month and shot several products on it, including glass with real ice and all I had to do when done is just wipe off the surface.

I do a lot of tabletop food shots, and struggled for the longest time with paper - water droplets or food spills meant taking apart everything in the setup to pull down fresh paper. Don't know why I didn't switch a long time ago. Yes, the PVC is a more reflective surface and will show as being glossier under the lens. But I've just completed a 2 week long shoot that would have needed 2 rolls of paper (and untold lost time disassembling my layout to pull down unstained paper). I didn't have to do that once on this shoot.

I have been using this for a week and a half now as a backdrop for photos of sporting goods to post online. It is very nice crisp bright wipe with no wrinkles or ripples. And best of all, it cleans beautifully. So far, every smudge has wiped off completely with just water and clean towel. Even ice skates haven’t left a mark. Only negative is that it is a bit statically so attracts some dust and fuzz. But that also just wipes off with a rag so not really a problem. So much better than the paper and cloth backdrops I have tried previously.

The product met my expectations. I used an iron on the lowest temperature setting with a cloth on top to flatten the sheet, and it worked very well.

I ordered this Tuesday 8. It was supposed to arrive Monday, but on arrived Thursday 10! Thank you! 🙌🏼 Easy to set up, easy to clean. It has a semi gloss side and a matte side. Perfect length. I didn’t have any chipping problems like other reviewers. Maybe they purchased during the summer time? Awesome product. Highly recommended!

I’ve been using this for a big auto parts shoot. I love that it is cleanable. It will get scratched and dented with heavy product, but I’m treating it as a consumable. Just ordered another one. It is pretty tightly rolled but after being unrolled it seems fine. Recommended if you know what you’re doing with photo equipment.

This matte paper PVC backdrop is great quality. The pvc is very thick & durable. It is a little tricky unrolling it at first as it is tightly rolled. After first use it loosens a bit. When storing it, roll it back up loosely. I found the price a little high for what you get. For that reason I only gave it a 4-star rating. I would recommend buying it.

The item does what it is supposed to. That said, mine came with a few scratches, a couple of stains, and hair, like literally a lot of someones hair on it. Returning.

Works well, clean background

Top had a rip in it, which started to continue down the PVC as I hung it. Bottom has very noticeable damage. The entire background was covered in cat hair and dirt that had to be washed off.
