Buy it now! It is worth it!
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Over the years I've used various shaving brushes: synthetic, boar hair, horse hair, and pure badger hair. The bristles have worn short on some, the handles have cracked, the hair have fallen out, and the knots have dropped out of the handles. So I decided it was time to try a 22 knot Parker silver tip badger hair shaving brush. It has been an excellent choice from day one. Quality: There are no issues with hair loss or smell as sometimes can be experienced with a new shaving brush. The thickness of the 22 knot brush allows a very thick creamy lather to be developed very quickly. Although users may find the traditional shaving mug to small to whip up lather. An inexpensive traditional tea cup is narrow enough at the bottom to hold a puck of shaving soap and wide enough at the top to allow the swirling needed to generate a thick rich lather. Value for money: Definitely a great value for the money. If you enjoy treating yourself to a good shave you will certainly be well rewarded for your investment. Even the really cheap shaving brushes will last a few years, so this may well last a lifetime. That means the actual cost is likely less than buying a cheap brush every 2 to 5 years. Durability: Not one dropped hair. This brush is likely to last a lifetime! Design: This brush was picked for the design of the handle. It is a pleasure to use. It feels good in the hand. The brush was also picked because it is the one Parker shaving brush with a 22 knot head. It requires a little more room in the bowl to lather well, but it the thickness and richness of the lather the fuller brush head creates is fabulous! Effectiveness: After 50 years of shaving brush use, it is my opinion that this brush rates as the best I have used! It is worth your investment. But do also invest in a tea cup to replace your shaving mug.

Perfect Brush
This is without question the nicest shaving brush out of the many I have used now for the last 15 years of wet shaving every morning. The handle is superb, with just enough heft and perfect length. Also the handle is milled, as opposed to formed and therefore has a perfectly flat bottom and sides with no cheap looking seams. The bristles are top of the line with just enough firmness while still being soft on the skin. I really don't think this brush could be improved on, especially at this price point compared to other high quality brushes. May just have to buy a black one to alternate.

Great value for a great shaving brush
I use this brush at home where I have a shaving mug with my favorite shaving soap. The brush is particularly soft and the lather foamy and abundant. This brush is moderate sized, when traveling a use a smaller brush and shaving cream from a tube. I am thrilled to have found this brush.

Great brush, but sheds
I really love the feel and price of this brush, though it tends to shed quite a bit. Update: The shedding’s slowed down to 1-3 hairs lost per shave, but it’s still kind of annoying. In terms of performance, however, the brush still makes a great lather and is comfortable to use. It’s good if you want something that’s not too expensive and prefer softer bristles. But I wouldn’t recommend it for someone wanting a long-lasting piece.

Great shaving brush.
This is a fantastic genuine silver tip badger shaving brush. It is the perfect length for using with a mug. The shape of the handle is fantastic and it doesn't slip from your hands even when wet. I have been looking for a good replacement for sometime. I have tried Kent, Trumper, Jagger, Simpson, Omega, and Muhle and this one is head and shoulders the best of the lot!

My best brush yet
This is only the second brush I have had to buy. My last one lasted 8 years and it was half the price of this one. So I have high hopes for its longevity. It holds a lot of lather with a nice soft feel to my face when applying lather. I have been using it for about a month now and I have only lost about three hairs and none in the past 2 weeks.

Very soft, nice
# stars only is not for the brush, the stand that comes with it is an inch (2.5r cm) too short, makes drying the brush take longer that it should. Not good. The brush, for a cheap brush, is excellent for now. I'm too old to invest in a lifetime shaving brush for more that $250; so I'll see how long it lasts.

Might be too soft. Top quality natural badger with a very high loft bulb. Little to no backbone.
This is a very well made brush. I wish the listing stated some measurements on the loft and stiffness on all of these products. It's impossible to make an informed decision based on the listing of these. If they had a shorter loft with a little more backbone I would definitely purchase one of those too.
