Can this be used to attach a jump drive (male) to the charger (male) on my phone to transfer files from jump drive to phone and vice versa?

Mine would not transfer from a Galaxy phone to an attached USB. The connections were there, but it wouldn't transfer the files I wanted from my phone to the connected USB.

The QianLink is nothing more than a double female USB connector. It has nothing to do with compatibility between devices, other than a cross connection. If your phones are not compatible to transfer info. you may need to your Samsung provider to receive help with the transfer.
