ASICS Men's JB Elite IV Wrestling Shoes

The shoes are awesome, BUT they are sized smaller, and for a narrow foot. I ordered a size 12, to tight and not long enough. Should've ordered a 13 xx wide. Either way gave them to my nephew, fits him perfectly to use for weight lifting.

My son loved getting these. They look great and he loves wearing them for practice and in tournaments

My son started wrestling in November of 2022 for JV and Varsity. I bought him ASICS Men's Matflex 6 Wrestling Shoes. Those definitely did the job and were under 60 bucks. However at one of the weekend jv events I noticed they were getting worn out, because he practiced in them also. So I decided to let him pick out shoes. It came down to all blue Rudis, These, and a similar color scheme from Scraplife ($180). He went with these and he loves them. He lost his first match with them against an experienced varsity guy, but he said he felt a difference with his feet and the grip. He wore them for the second time at JV counties and came in 4th and made the podium. Only negative is while they look cool they are white (he wanted white) and you notice the dirt faster. I told him to use his matflex for practice. Nice shoes.

I wrestled as a kid and had Asics a long time ago! I’ve now started Krav Maga and was recommended to get a pair for class. I still love them! Great shoes for working out on mats.

I’ve already owned a pair of these, so I knew what to expect. However, by far the most comfortable wrestling shoe I’ve owned. Not only is it comfortable, but these shoes are built to last. I had worn my previous pair for three entire college wrestling seasons. That is durability that is hard to match.

Son has always worn ASICS. Got him a pair of the JB’s for off season tournaments earlier this year. Says this is the best pair of ASICS ever. Better grip, the split sole makes them better form fitting. Those are now his practice shoes and bought him a new pair for current season.

Unbelievably durable, comfortable, and look great. The shoe has been used for a full wrestling season and summer training and has held up impressively. Some of the best made shoes i have ever seen in any sport. Today is 8/15/22. I purchased these for my son in December 2021. Felt the need to share they are that good. WELL DONE ASICS.

Comfort and fit

I have wide feet these seem to be a little more forgiving in width than other brands tend to be. These are the best pair of wrestling boots I've ever worn brilliant on the mats
