Works Great!!!!
Excellent deal if you need to open your side cargo door on your Ford E Van....!!!A local shop wanted 120 bucks to put in new cables..another wanted that much just to put these in for me.Thanks to a couple u-tube videos...this 63 year old 'cool' chick got a screw driver, undid two screws, pulled out the lock box...hooked the cords up....and in twenty minutes had a working door again!!! Now that I know how to do it, I think I could do it in under ten minutes!! THANK YOU SO Much for a cheap fix to my poor old 15 year old van that is still running strong and taking me camping this weekend (with a functioning door)!!! EXCELLENT price and works just like the ones for three times as much at the fancy auto store!!! If your door won't open....Definitely buy these!!!

These parts fit my truck perfectly. They work great.
Just watched a YouTube video and used the parts I was sent and it was a lot easier than I expected. I liked the listing of whether it would fit my truck by year model and make. It helped a lot

worked on Ford Excursion
Used on 2001 Ford Excursion left cargo door. OEM part discontinued. The shorter cable was 2" longer but worked well. Installed easily and quickly. Saving longer cable for the possibility of any future repairs. Original cable was 20 years old so another cable could break at any time.

This will fix the Ford Excursion rear left barn door.
I ordered these to repair the left rear barn door on a 2001 Ford Excursion. Watch the youtube videos and it's pretty straight forward to install. Yes, it is physically a little longer than the Ford cable, but the throw of the cable is the same, so it actuates the latch mechanism. The only problem I encountered was that the end where the push clip secures it needed to be opened up a bit with a file, razor knife, etc for the clip to slip over, but then it is secured. I will keep the longer one to repair the right barn door if ever needed.

This fits a 1993 E250 Econoline Ford Van
This works for my 1993 E250 Econoline Ford Van. But, I needed to use tie wires to hold the ends of the shrouds of these cables in place. To keep them from popping out. Other than that they work great.

not the best quality, will last maybe a year...update 11 months to fail
UPDATE 2019. Almost lasted a year before the plastic broke and the cable is flopping around and not opening door anymore. The plastic used on these is very poor quality...the OE Ford plastic ones lasted 18 years...these lasted 11 months. I would recommend going with OE Ford ones or upgrading to the aluminum end type that a lot of people are doing. I have decided to replace the ends with the alum ends and see how they last... being that the fail part of these cables are the plastic snap in ends...I am very hopeful that the alum upgrade will make me not have to tear the door apart again.I wanted to wait some time before I posted a review. Having had these installed on my van for 8 months now I figured its a good time to voice my opinion. At first they were great and I was very happy on having my side doors work the way they should. Now, 8 months later, they are starting to have issues. They have worn to the point where the door doesn't open til the handle is almost all the way pulled out. I figure the outer cable which is the one that gets used mostly will break like the OE did in the next couple months. I think I will try and find a higher quality cable or go with OE ford one as doing the cable replacement is not something I want to do every year as its a little bit of a pain to do. The OE cable lasted almost 18 years and this replacement may last 1 year, as its already feeling like the OE one did right before it broke.

Replacwd a broken latch juat fine. Though the plastic pieces ahould be made of metal, in my opinion.

Good product.
They do the job, I just wish that they had aluminum fittings instead of plastic.
