Happy Sales Premium Ceramic Pie Weights, 0.75 Pounds

I had wanted these for long time but never thought to get them...but I did! They clean up nicely and do the trick making baking one pie crust a snap. Wish I had bought them years ago!

I wouldn’t gift these unless it’s someone that understands that there is ceramic dust in the bag. Dust: Possibly in transport when the pie weights rubbed against each other and created a bag full of ceramic dust. I washed and air dried them and they cleaned up nicely. I haven’t used them yet to find out if they make a difference in baking my pie crust.

These work fine, but I'm glad I got more than one pkg. One won't cover enough. I also recently learned a helpful trick. Put parchment paper in bottom of crust under the weights. Makes for a smoother buttom crust. Remove paper and weights for the last few minutes of baking.
