Chicken Shoot

It was exactly what I thought it would be however the company atfirst sent the wrong one - they sent for the WIII instead of nintendo ds - They sent me the correct one with no problem telling me to keep the incorrect one which worked out okay - the grandson that wanted it for the ds - his family also has the WIII so his dad even enjoys the game - the whole family thinks its fun - simple but fun :)

...in the sense that this game is such. Chicken Shoot is literally a light gun-style game made for the Nintendo DS that feels better at home on the Internet as a Flash game. The only redeeming factor about the game is that it has surprisingly colorful and animated graphics that remind me of the likes of oldschool PC point 'n click games. However, graphics do not make gameplay, and Chicken Shoot makes it extremely clear. There's no variety at all. You just shoot and shoot until you lost or are finished with the game. It probably would've made for a somewhat tolerable distraction if not for the fact that the game wants you to press the D-Pad to fire, only leaving the aiming to the stylus or face buttons. It's a bigger annoyance than it sounds. Even if the game did have you just tap the chickens, though, that's all the game is. There's seriously more depth and compelling gameplay in one minigame from Super Mario 64 DS and/or New Super Mario Bros.

This game is great for chicken shooting and the graphics are great. But thats all there is. Just an east shooting game. The kids love it.

I got this game for my 5 year old who loves to shoot things. This is his first DSi game so Im starting small. I just hope when he opens it on Christmas he loves it.

This is a silly game that is just too funny!! The little guy can play it, and it is even fun for me when I what to play a game with out thinking! Too hilarious! Yeah, I know it's not a gamer's choice, but we are getting a lot of laughs out of it, and it has become a favorite!

i still don't understand how can such a game be sold at any price! i picked this game up when i saw its colorful package. read from cover to back, i couldn't find a description of what this game realy does. it was little fishy, but want have a game on the way home, i didn't mind much. however, it turns out the package was right, there is nothing!! this game basically is a flash shooting game. you get a nicely drafted JPG back ground, drag your cursor on to some flying chichen shaped icons, and tap the D pad. if you click on the icons more than a standard, you get into a next stage, which means you get a new back ground, that's it. after you see 6, or maybe 7 pictures, DONE!! please don't buy this game, so that we can send a message to the developer that they cann't just pack something and put on shelves to get money.

Bought this game for my little brother and he loved it! I played it and it held my interest. Very interesting game. I do recommend it. Pretty fun!

My daughter loved this game, played it for hours and still goes back to play it now and then.
