I want to set the basin a bit deeper than its stsndard depth. Are there extension rings for the top or does anyone have ideas of how to do this?

The spec sheet states the type and size for extensions. I think it was a 6" PVC sewer pipe. Home Depot sold 2' segment and you just cut to the depth you want and slide it in. I did have to saw off the little stubs on the cap to get it to fit but that was easy with a hacksaw.

If i use a pvc pipe to connect drains. is there a clamp? or do i buy glue etc to put on pvc pipe and drain connector?

I would need to see the overall picture before I can submit a professional answer. The actual plumbing vent pipe connection point and fixture connection point. Normally it’s a 1-1/2 or 1-1/4” fixture kit with mechanical joints no gluing. The plumbing side connection is usually either a threaded adapter or glue adapter,
